FanDuel Promotion with Footballguys 2014 (1 Viewer)

I told my brother to pick a lineup for one of my entries -- dead-### last. In his defense he's never done daily competitions before, but still.

 
If you qualify for Week 11, does that mean that the Week 11 contest is free? It's not that clear to me from this promo page but maybe there's some fine print that I'm missing.

I was having issues a few weeks back. I submitted a support ticket on Fanduel and they resolved it fairly quickly. Congrats on your winnings.

I got a response saying you did get them even though I did not. Getting the tickets should be much smoother than it is.

 
The best thing about this contest is even when you lose, you still win (that is if you place in the money).

I do one per week, have won $$ every single week, but I believe I only have 3 tickets.

I should probably start doing more than one per week, lol.

Me too. Except I missed week 1 and I think I missed the money 1 time. 3 tix though.

When week 11 gets here, how different are you going to make your lineups? If you have 10 tix, I imagine you'd be extremely diverse.

 
Week 11 is going to be a completely different contest. Especially with all the tickets being won, it's going to end up being a pretty top heavy GPP. I'm guessing that I'll end up with some pretty wild lineups for that one.

 
Has anyone tracked the number of tickets won each week? This week there were 165. There will probably be between 2,000 - 3,000 entries for week 11.

I will probably go with a 5-6 different WR/QB combo's I imagine. Usually go with the same RB/TE and mix in different RB2 and the other 2 WR's.

So yes, LU's will be different.

 
Any idea on the payouts for Week 11? I want to start counting the money I won't win now, so at least I get some quality imagination time in with it.

1st - $10,000

2nd - $5,000

3rd - $3,000

4th - $2,000

13th - $300

14th - $200

15th - 25th - $100

26th - 55th - $50

56th – 65th - 3 year subscription ($64.95 value)

There could still be overlay any week which doesn't happen in any other 50/50 you can join, and I like the bigger 50/50's like these too over the smaller ones. If you have been winning there is no reason to stop as you might as well keep winning the money. I have found the FBG 50/50 to be much softer than the average 50/50 out there too.

There has been overlay some weeks, and although it is unlikely to make a difference, if the tourney fills to the max you are also preventing a few others from having the opportunity to win a ticket and compete against you in week 11 as well.

All good points. And I agree with these ones being easier to win, not sure why.

Very high week for him this week, while I still cashed in 2 out of 3 entries, it wasn't enough for tickets.

 
If you are maxed out or close on tickets this is exactly what you want happening. Keep that field small! Keep it up sig.

 
Cashed on my 3 entries and managed 2 tickets to get to 9 total. Need one more. Anybody got an educated guess on how many tickets will be punched for the final? The first few weeks had a ton of qualifiers. The top 55 will win at least $50, but there are probably ~3000 or so? That would be an average of 300 per week, which may be low.

I'm not sure but it would be easy to figure out if anyone knows the cutoffs for each week, just a rough guess would be around 4000-5000. I imagine a small number of players either won't remember or care enough to set their lineups for week 11 as well.

When I look for the Footballguys contest from the lobby, I can never find it.

It seems it is somehow hidden.

I can follow links from email to get to it.

Is this because it is invite-only? Or am I a Grade-A moran?

If it is because it is invite-only, what other 50/50s are invite only? I really like that it is a bigger contest that doesn't always fill up. Am hoping there are others!

 
Glad he finished high to keep the pool of entries down. I did have an entry beat him (37th) but unfortunately I already got all 10 entries.

 
Bloom is currently in first place so it looks like very few tickets will be given out this week (if any). That's fine with me because I already have 10 tickets.

 
Bloom killed it this week, but I was just emailed that I won a ticket. Anybody else? I cashed, but wasn't even close to Bloom.

 
I never get e-mail notification but got my 10th ticket somehow this week. Maybe the fact that he had 2 entries, even though they were identical, caused a glitch?

 
I got no tickets despite a top 50 finish.

Another week I got an email saying I got a ticket and then the ticket was never added to my account.

:shrug:
