I've commished one other league since 2005, the DFFL. Some of you may have seen my posts on this board currently looking for another owner for that league. Well, I decided to make another league to feed my addiction and get into the PPR hype. Taking reservations to join now, and wanting a bunch of VERY active owners. Not sure of when exactly we will draft, but plan to draft shortly after the rookie draft. As long as we're full and everyone is available, starting the Sunday of NFL Rookie Draft Weekend is the plan with a 12 hour timer for each pick (hopefully everyone is active and we don't have to wait 12 hours). A little NFL draft and FF Draft at the same time! Draft slots will be determined by roll of dice after everyone is paid up.

Start 1 QB, 2-3 RB, 3-4 WR, 1-2 TE, 1 K, 1 DEF

Fantasy Addicts Support Group

League fees will be $52.00 (50 for League, and 2 for Paypal Fees)

Payouts will be 100% minus MFL Costs ($75):

1st-250

2nd-125

3rd-50

We are going to be using a 12 hour timer for draft as well guys, so you know it wont all be done in one day.I prefer that, you arent rushed with picks :popcorn:

I'm going to hold off, as much I'd like to join another, just don't think I should right now. I'm sure this will be a great league though!

I just read it drafts after the NFL draft. I thought maybe it was starting this week with dummy spots holding the rook picks.

That is the preliminary plan. I've discussed with one other owner the possibility of drafting earlier and drafting rookie picks as well. Once we all get into the league, we can discuss moving the draft earlier if everyone is in agreeance. If everyone cant agree to draft earlier, then the draft will be the Sunday of the NFL Draft...April 26th

Im game to start this thing right awayWith rookie picks, the top 3 or 4 will be priority, so you basically know who youll be getting.Wont be in the first few rounds anyhow.

Right, same as we did in Chuck Norris PPR league last month. Rookie Draft would then be the weekend after the NFL draft IF we did it this way.Chuck Norris Dynasty

Rookie drafts will go 5 rounds in this league each year. So, if we draft before the NFL draft then you could draft as far as 5.12 in the initial draft. Its not as complicated as it sounds, take a look at the Chuck Norris Dynasty Draft that I linked above.

Want to get everyone's opinion on it. So far, everyone is game for whatever it seems. Would like to hear from the others. I'll add you onto the list, and if we decide not to draft early then I'll just find a replacement if you want out.
 
Not drafting early, going to stick with the initial plan and draft on April 26th. Couldn't get 100% agreeance on the idea, so we'll stick with the initial date and plan. Sorry to get hopes up! :)

Can you explain the year -to- year drafting format for me please. Do we all cut down to a specific # before the draft every year? Everyone draft equally? Worst to first NFL style? How many rounds in the draft?

Rookie and FA's are available each year in the drafts. They will take place the weekend after the NFL Draft each year. After week 17 of NFL season, roster expands to 27 (+5 spots) for the offseason to give rookies and some others a spot to see what they have during the offseason. A week before the NFL Week 1 Kickoff, you must trim back down to 22 spots. Draft will be worst to first each year for the teams that dont make the playoffs, so 1.01-1.06 worst to first. 1.07-1.12 will be decided by how far you go in the playoffs and have a tiebreaker of record, for instance the two teams to lose in the first week of the playoffs were 9-4 and 8-5...the 8-5 team would get 1.07 and 9-4 team would get 1.08. Team that wins championship gets 1.12, and runner up gets 1.11. Draft is 5 rounds and everyone has equal picks, unless you trade them. Hope that helps!

League Safe - NoCommissioner Lockout - YesI have ran a league since 2005 and have a Savings account that I use only for that league. Payouts have always been paid on time in that league (within a week), I can give emails to a few owners in that league if you'd wish. I understand its hard to trust someone at this time, but honestly...who's to say you can trust League Safe 100%? I've got a bit of credibility built up, so its up to you.

Not that anyone here would. But just in case of an emergency, you may consider 2 alternates, in case someone can't stay on, disappears..... :thumbup: or can't pay...

There is still a few that I was in contact with, that would be able to step in if need be. I think we've got our group though, but stuff does happen.
 
Had one guy have to back out, so 1 spot is open and most are paid up. Need to fill that spot and get payment and we can roll. Now accepting one more!
