I am not worried about message board stuff, Im talking content here.
I used Ron Shandler's site, baseballhq last year and was a little disappointed. Has anyone had a subscription to fantasy baseball.com and if so, what did you think of it.
I used to use Mastersball.comThey sold out to of all placesfantasybaseball.comI'm going to pass this year............I'll give the forum a look see though, because mastersballs was top notch.
Mastersball was the same every year. Start off really strong and fade down the stretch. I liked all the guys over there, Jason and Paul in particular, but it just seemed like they wrote a lot of content checks early in the year that real life wouldn't let them cash at the end of the year. Their message board used to be fantastic, but it got harder and harder to dig out the gems as the years went on.Baseball is incredibly tough to run as a site from a content perspective. Football is a little easier, because it gives you some days in between to take a breath and get ready for the next round of games. Baseball is like football Sunday every single day for six straight months. It's just a monster. Whenever I see guys prodding Joe B to create a Baseballguys type site, I figure he's already run through the scenarios in his head and wants no part of that headache.

If you (and others) liked the content and forums at mastersball - then PLEASE come see us at the new digs - it is still Jason and Rob and Todd and I writing - we have added Gary and there will be a few more helpers, but a new address shouldn't dissuade you from getting GREAT content. While Jason will still be writing, Todd and Rob are directing things and there will be MORE content...on a REGULAR and adhered to schedule. The site will start new subscriptions and have projections up around January 15th.And yes, a baseball site is considerably more work, but for us it's a labor of love,PVH
