I have opened up three unique head-to-head fantasy baseball leagues on CBSSports for the 2011 fantasy baseball season. All money and prizes will be given out and taken by FantasySportsVault.com.
1. 12-team $125 head-to-head VICTORY POINTS format. This system is a mixture of head-to-head and total points combined to determine winners for the playoffs, Victory Points are widely considered to be one of the most exciting and fairest formats available. They work in this simple yet effective way. Teams compete in the typical H2H weekly matchups:
Each H2H Win = 2 Victory Points
Each H2H Loss = 0 Victory Points
The top 4 Scoring Teams for that week = 2 VPs
The middle 4 Scoring Teams for that week = 1 VPs
The bottom 4 Scoring Team for that week = 0 VPs
On a weekly basis, a team can earn either 4, 3, 2, 1 or 0 Victory Points towards its yearly total.
2. 20-team $75 head to head league on CBS---20 teams compete in 4 divisions for head-to-head supremacy--Regular CBS scoring rules and regulations apply here...
3. 12-team $125 auction head to head league on CBS---12 teams compete in a $260 salary cap auction league online for head-to-head supremacy--Regular CBS scoring rules and regulations apply here---$600 to playoff champion plus other great prizes...
