I like rolling the dice, it makes owners feel like they control where they are slotted. I like rolling to choose your draft slot even more.

What if the first guy to pick pulls the Ace?

Draw cards just start at the end of the draft and go up through the first pick... 12 teams/16 rounds usually only takes an hour to do and you get to trash talk like all hell.

I developed an excel spreadsheet that does lottery like draft order determination. It wasn't hard and can be easily adapted for different size leagues, etc. I can e-mail our version to you if you want...
