Modified keeper league, can keep up to 2 guys off last year's team, but you lose that round pick at which you selected that guy last year. Chris Johnson -RB is one of my keepers and I will lose my 9th round pick this year. My question concerns the other keeper. Do I keep Jones-Drew and lose my second round pick (18th overall selection) or Roddy White and lose my 7th round pick (55th overall selection)? Scoring is pretty balanced between WR and RB, especially at the top end, as WRs get a 5pt bonus at 80 yds versus 100yds for RBs. No PPR.

I have the first pick this year so I will be selecting Adrian Peterson. We have to start 2 RBs, 3 WRs, and one flex RB/WR. So the 2 scenarios are:

1. AP/MJD/Johnson as my RB/RB/flex starters. I would lose my 2nd round pick and select a WR with the 1st pick of the third round which should still be a good WR (Wayne, Smith, White, etc). For the back to back picks in rounds 4-5, I'd probably go WR and WR or WR/QB depending on what's available.

2. Keep Johnson and Roddy White and select AP #1. That gives my AP/Johnson as RB/RB and White as WR. I then select 2 WRs in the 2nd and 3rd rounds, both which I hope are very good WRs. I then have those 2 RBs paired with 3 of the top 10 WRs. I could then select another RB or 2 in rounds 4 and 5 or select RB/QB, but obviously the quality of that RB will be average.

Which is the better bargain or which option provide me the better 6 players (3 RB, 3 WR).

I really appreciate any insightful opinions and will provide my opinion to any question(s) you might have if asked. Thanks in advance. If possible, please give your rationale or thought process (if any) behind your decision.
