Beyond FBG's are there any Fantasy Football Podcasts that are helpful, often updated or just overall worth listening to? Of course FBG's, but what else is out there? What's the best source of information?

On iTunes, CBSSports FF Podcast is easily the most popular... There's also a podcast called Dominate Your Fantasy League that is labeled 'Explicit'... that sounds interesting... :lmao:

Thoughts and suggestions?

I listen to perhaps too many podcasts. Some are terrible. Some are full of fluff and crap you don't want to know about...like their teams or whatever lame music they happen to like that day. On the other hand, some of them are great and full of pertinent information. I like the Fantasy Roundtable and anything else Jim Day/Fantasy Taz is participating. FFToolbox has a pretty good podcast also. Two Feet in Bounds seems to be pretty solid also.

Apparently Kelloggs Komments is highly regarded, but I think the guy has tunnel vision and interupts his guests too often and also seems to have a huge ego. The Thundering Blurb is kind of weak most of the time also, although one of the guys seems more informed and less of a loudmouth than the other guys. These are simply my opinion of course and other people may completely disagree.

I have listened to Bloom, Lammey, Norton and Waldman since 06' or 07, maybe earlier. Obviously, they are very solid and most people at these boards are huge fans. Although it wouldn't hurt if they limited their fluff at times also....but it is easy to be a critic and I am very grateful for their passionate podcasts. Mr. Bloom has a unique outlook and way of thinking and I love to hear what he has to say about everything...except Phish. Keep up the good work podcasters and thanks.

i have heard this as well. not the podcast...just that this guy has an unwarranted big ego.

podcast are fine, but Sirius/XM is the best in terms of fantasy info threw audio.

no downloading, just start your car and hear 10 min of fantasy talk on the way to lunch. or 30 min on the way to work, up to the minute relevant info. when you listen to podcast your about a day late+.

also most podcasts are limited to an hour or 30 min, so they try to cram a bunch of info to an hour, while the full time radio station can talk about the topics at hand, get diff perspectives, and have diff opinions. this allows you to make up your mind on hearing diff opinions instead of having one point of view on a specific player or team situation.

I love FBG podcasts and they are the only ones I check out the rest of my audio info is from the XM/Sirius Channel.

I couldn't find that on iTunes...is there a more formal name for the podcast? I am intrigued by a couple of these.I listen to the ESPN Fantasy Focus (M. Berry, etc.), if just for the daily news and Stephania Bell's injury insight. The ESPN Football Today podcast (again mostly for daily news) has a new host and features Matt Williamson a couple of times a week, who has excellent scouting insight. I like the guys on CBSSports, but I don't have the patience for the squabbling or the apparent lack of game-watching by the hosts. Feels like alot of stats, not much scouting or insight. Saturday morning, the KFAN Fantasy Football Weekly might be the best game breakdown start/sit podcast out there. Well researched stats. Comes out around Noon on iTunes or direct on KFAN's website. In season, there is normally enough Audible/Drive Block content to keep me busy on walks/drives during the week. They have the best breakdowns, and I am enjoying the new Thursday night content with Matt Waldman, which is getting more into philosophy of playing FF, as opposed to straight up WDIS.

....a little bit of self promotion, but my friend and I do a weekly one called Ultimate Football Talk. We found the average football podcast to be a little boring, so we designed ours to be knowledgeable, yet funny and entertaining. oh, and we use the explicit tag. Something a little different from your average football podcast.

Just search for Ultimate Football Talk on iTunes. ....and I would love some feedback, too...we're always looking to improve.

(New episode should be up by 1pm EST)

It is under FantasyGuru.com Blog Talk Radio Feed. Enter FantasyGuru.com in the search area. They have three weekly shows, but the Weekly Matchup one is by FAR the best.

Can we take the 5 minute audio off that lexy website?

Or maybe I'm missing something but I would like to subscribe to the lexy audible and have it added to my podcast manager, but I do not see an itune or rss feed.
