Fantasy Sleepers for Week 12 (1 Viewer)

Who do you guys think are sleepers for this week?

I think these guys are sleepers:

- Alex Smith

- Bernard Scott

- Justin Forsett

- Danny Ware

- Jermichael Finley

- Martellus Bennett

Felix Jones.

The non pounding RBs have done well against the Raiders:

A. Bradshaw

J. Charles

B. Scott

T. Jones

C. Buckhalter

ANDRE CALDWELL

That kid's a competitor. I see it in his eyes. That fumble has been eatin away at him all week. He wants to prove that isn't who he is. What better team to do that against than the Browns?

I wish Danny Ware would get this opportunity against a weaker defense. I realize the Broncos are melting but I am in wait and see mode with ware....and not quite desperate enough.

It's probably nuts to even consider this, but we are talking sleepers soooo.....Massaquoi.

- He had a nice game vs. the Bengals the first time they played(albeit the Browns still had Edwards then, FWIW).

- The Browns will almost certainly be behind and throwing.

- Lately the Bengals haven't been automatically totally shutting down the WR1 as they had been earlier in the year. Over the last month Holmes had 7 for 88 a couple weeks ago and Hester had a big game a few games back. Andre Johnson had the big game the week before Hester.

They've also put the kibosh on the Raiders wideouts last week(though they did find the EZ) and pretty much shut down the Ravens guys too, so it's certainly no lock or anything....but weirder things have happened.

The Browns should be behind and throwing and Quinn seems to be looking for Massaquoi often. Could see a 7-8 catch day(though it'll probably take 12-13 targets to pull it off) for 80+. I suppose he'd be a better sleeper for PPR, since I doubt he scores.

There should be a rule that says you can't list a player as a sleeper unless you're willing to start them.
I'm not sure what you mean... aren't you looking for a sleeper because what you have isn't going to get you anything (ala TO [excluding last week when he was on everyone's bench], Witten or Forte)? I don't think anyone would/should sit a viable starter like MBIII vs OAK for a sleeper like B Ware... do you? its when you have nothing to lose (like those who were using Forsett and now might not have a starter with JJ coming back) and everything to gain... then you grab sleepers.my picks would be Finley and Jones of GB... DET D is a wasteland and they're really bad vs TE.

I can see it. The problem is Quinn, but maybe the light has went on for this guy (even if dimmed). I'm just going by Quinn's stats, which would seem to indicate he played pretty well, but I've yet to watch the game (I recorded the ShortCut version). I want to take a look at last week's game before I watch Quinn this week.Anyway, Massaqoui is their most talented WR by a longshot, & he's a rookie, which bodes well for his future. That said, unless Quinn has turned it around, which I kinda doubt, the Browns need a QB. I know as a Massaquoi owner in several dynasty leagues, I wouldn't mind seeing Sam Bradford land in Cleveland. ;)

I picked up Jermichael Finley off waivers this week and I'm starting him over Heath Miller. I believe Finley had 7 receptions on 12 targets for 54 yards in his first game back off injury. Rodgers clearly favors him (check), Detroit has the league's worst pass defense (check), and it's a nationally televised game (check, check).

Jacoby Jones. The Texans needed his big play ability in returns and in the passing game vs TEN. Definitely missed in the red zone. He'll get involved early and often, one TD this week at least whether receiving or in the return game.

WR Nate Washington- 6 catches/ 80 yds/ 1 td

QB Vince Young- 230 yds passing/ 2 tds// 35 yds rushing/1 td

RB Chris Jennings(Clev)- 65 yds rushing/1 td// 3 catches/25 yds

I really like Maroney this week. He doesn't seem to be high on most of the rankings but he gets the goalline carries and there should be a ton of points scored in this game. Not the best option in PPR leagues but I'm rolling with him this week.

I also like Maroney....I also like Pierre Thomas & Mike Bell as well. Against popular opinion, I could see both NEP & Saints running the ball to keep the other QB off the field. I think the game on Monday night will be lower scoring than most seem to think

Packer RB Brandon Jackson might be a good sleeper candidate in PPR leagues today v. the Lions. Last week in PPR scoring, he tallied 14.1 points in the Packers game against the 49ers. He was target 7 times by Rodgers, hauling in 6 rec. for 65 yards. On top of that, he rushed 4 times for 16 yards.

If the Packers get a big lead today I could see McCarthy perhaps trying to preserve Grant and get some playing time in for Jackson. Review of the play by play shows his involvement to be pretty much evenly distributed throughout the game. The Pack did have B. Jackson on the field and getting some of his passes in the 2-minute drill under no huddle during the 2nd quarter.

For those who are thin at RB today and in a PPR scoring format, B. Jackson may be an option as a sleeper.

Thoughts on Moreno? I'm noticing his average is getting better and the giants couldn't stop Snelling. Maybe he breaks out tonight.

Don't count on that bolded part if Sammy Morris is back this week. Maroney has fumbled the last two weeks, including a goalline fumble at Indy. I don't see Maroney get the goalline carries when Morris returns.

Out of all the names here, two stood out in hindsight, Justin Forsett and Vince Young.

Who ended up starting either in their leagues Week 12?

I have Young in a league where Big Ben has been my starter so with only Garrard to choose from, my decision was easy and Young came thru with the goods.

Have Forsett in a league where I needed to make a call between him and Pierre Thomas.....chose Forsett. If Pierre outperforms him on MNF, I'll live with it.

Guess i should have told everyone that i picked up and started Britt sunday morning, sorry. I did just pick up WR avant and bryant today if that helps. Also keep an eye of Celek this week, Alex Smith is a just waiting to go off.
