Hey all!
Starting a 32 team keeper league on Fantrax with some friends and we have many open spots still available. League is going to split up into eight divisions of four teams and will be ran similar to the NFL aside from using conferences. All divisions will be in the league together and not separated into two separate conferences. We'll be having an auction draft on Saturday August 23rd at 7pm EST and will be utilizing a salary cap, salary floor and contracts. This league is not for the faint of heart and promises to be exciting!
Simple $10 buy in is the only cost for the league - all transactions through the year are free to encourage activity amongst members. We will be using Fantrax Treasurer to collect and pay out.
Please find a copy and paste of the League Message that I have drafted below along with the actual rules copied from my league page.
If you are interested please send me your email address in this thread or send me an email at steves1235@yahoo.com
If you would like to join with friends and play in the same division, please state that in your message and clarify your friends email address.
Thank you and looking forward to the season!

LIVE, online auction draft set to take place Saturday 8/23/25 at 7pm EST. Draft will continue until all teams rosters are filled. FANTRAX WILL NOT AUTO-BID. You MUST attend the draft in order to draft a team. If you are unable to attend the draft, you will have to sign Free Agents to unextendible, one-season contracts worth $10 each. I will pause the draft every 60 minutes for a 10 minute break. Draft should take 4-5 hours in total.
Salaries and Contracts: All players drafted will be "signed" to a one-season contract (called "DRAFT") worth whatever their auction price was (i.e. you win Amon-Ra St Brown for $50 in the '25-'26 draft, his DRAFT salary would become $50). After their DRAFT season, you will have the option to extend any number of your player's contracts. Contracts may only be extended ONE TIME (i.e. you can extend Amon Ra's contract after his DRAFT-contract season, however, after this new contract expires, you will not be able to re-extend him and he will go back into the player draft for the following season). You may only extend a contract for a total of up to THREE seasons. All extended contracts will include a salary increase of $3 per season extended (i.e. You extend Amon-Ra's $50 '25-'26 contract ("DRAFT") for THREE seasons, his contract will become $53 for the '26-'27 season ("2/4"), $56 for the '27-'28 season ("3/4"), and finally $59 for the '28-'29 season ("4/4") before he hits the free agent pool for the '29-'30 draft. Alternatively, if you extended him for ONE season, his contract ("2/2") would become $53 before he hits the free agent pool for the '27-'28 draft).
Any players added from the Waiver Wire will retain their current contract and salary. Free Agent pickups will be signed to a one season contract (called "FA") worth $10 and will NOT have an option to be extended after the season is over. FA contracts will also not carry a cap-hit if dropped.
Contract Types:
o FA - Free Agent Contract; this is the default contract which all unsigned players will be designated. Any player added from the Free Agent pool (or through Waiver’s assuming he was previously in the FA pool) throughout the season will be signed to this "FA" contract worth $10 for the remainder of the season, or until dropped. All FA contracts will not have an option to be extended and will not carry a cap-hit if dropped.
o DRAFT - When a player is drafted, he will be signed to a one-season DRAFT contract worth his auction price. Player contract can be extended after the DRAFT season for up to three seasons. Comes with a 10% cap-hit if dropped.
o 2/2 - If you extended a player for one season after their DRAFT contract, their contract will change to "2/2" indicating they are in the second season of a two-season total contract with your team. Comes with a 60% cap-hit if dropped.
o 2/3 - If you extended a player for two seasons after their DRAFT contract, their contract will first change to "2/3" for one season, indicating they are in the second season of a three-season total contract with your team. Comes with a 60% cap-hit if dropped.
o 3/3 - If you extended a player for two seasons after their DRAFT contract, their contract will first change to "2/3" for one season, then to "3/3" for the next season, indicating they are in the third and final season of a three-season total contract with your team. Comes with a 50% cap-hit if dropped.
o 2/4 - If you extended a player for three seasons after their DRAFT contract, their contract will first change to "2/4" for one season, indicating they are in the second season of a four-season total contract with your team. Comes with a 60% cap-hit if dropped.
o 3/4 - If you extended a player for three seasons after their DRAFT contract, their contract will first change to "2/4" for one season, then to "3/4" for the next season, indicating they are in the third season of a four-season total contract with your team. Comes with a 50% cap-hit if dropped.
o 4/4 - If you extended a player for three seasons after their DRAFT contract, their contract will first change to "2/4" for one season, then to "3/4" for the next season, and finally to "4/4" for the following season, indicating they are in the fourth and final season of a four-season total contract with your team. Comes with a 40% cap-hit if dropped.
Contract Extension Deadline: You MUST send the Commissioner your list of contract extensions for your roster on or before July 31st @ 11:59pm EST. If your list is not received by this time, all of your players contracts will expire and they will enter the draft pool for the next season. Send a direct message on Fantrax, text, or email; please include your name, your Team's name, your player's FIRST and LAST names along with the number of seasons you are extending them. ex:
"Hi Commish, I am Ronald McDonald and my team is Hamburglar's Revenge. Please see below for my extensions:
Amon-Ra St Brown - 3 Seasons
Jahmyr Gibbs - 2
Jayden Daniels - 3
Derrick Henry - 1
Broncos D - 1
Thanks!"
Salary Cap: You will have a Salary Cap of $300 and a Salary Floor of $140. A portion of all DROPPED player's contracts will be retained by your franchise and counted against your Salary Cap according to their contract. This can be outlined in Rules > Salaries and Contracts > Contracts > Cap Hit Penalty %
Roster: Starting 7: QB, RB, WR, TE, FX, K, D; 5 Bench; Unlimited IR
Roster Maximums: QB-2, RB-4, WR-4, TE-3, K-2, D-1
BYE Weeks: Any player on an NFL BYE week is allowed to be placed on your team's IR.
IR Slots: Any player who is currently on an IR spot and eligible to be removed must first be removed from the IR before your franchise will be able to make any transactions. (i.e. if you place Amon Ra on the IR during the Lions BYE week, as soon as that week ends and St Brown is no longer eligible for the IR, you will not be allowed to perform any transactions until he is removed from the IR)
Schedule: Regular Season spans Weeks 1-13, Wild Card in Week 14, Divisional Round in Week 15, Conference Finals in Week 16, and the Championship in Week 17. You will play all divisional opponents twice per season and will play one opponent from all seven other remaining divisions. The other divisional teams will rotate each season so you will play every team outside your division once every four seasons.
Playoffs will be similar to NFL aside from separating teams into two conferences. We will award the division winners the top eight seeds with the remaining six spots coming from the next best teams throughout the entire league. The top two division winners will receive a Wild Card BYE and will advance to the Divisional Round. The remaining 12 teams we play each other according to rank (3 vs 14, 4 vs 13, 5 vs 12, 6 vs 11, 7 vs 10, 8 vs 9). The winners of these games will advance and all rounds will be reseeded according to regular season standings.
