I like the matchup for Fargas vs. ATL's 27th ranked run D, I like the fact that McFadden will most likely be out, I just don't know how much I like Fargas.

Are you starting him and who are you starting him over? He should get opportunties, 20 carries minimum, and the game should be close. I have him on the bench for the Lendale.

At the moment I have him starting over McGahee, we'll see what they say about him before the game.

stuck with trying to figure out if i should go with him or Avery
Trying to decide if he's a better play over Kevin Faulk at the moment myself.
I'm going with Faulk here.Just not sure how I'm supposed to have faith in Oakland given the way they've been playing, even with this defensive matchup. 10 for 35 vs. Saints, followed by 28 for 74 vs. NYJ followed by 12 for 24 vs. BAL. All over the map, inconsistent numbers, barely or not even hitting 3.0 ypc? I'll take my chances with Faulk in the big game.

I appreciate the opinion, and I am leaning that way myself. As for Fargas over Avery, I'd go with Avery. I'm even starting Avery over Plax in my start 2 WR leauge. In my start 3 WR league, Avery is a shu-in. I got brunt not playing Avery last week, and since FF at the WR position can be such a complete crap shot from week to week, I am letting it ride with Avery while the hot streak continues.

Fargas over Lewis (vBAL), Breaston (@STL), Curtis (@SEA). I'll take my chances on 20+ carries vs a suspect run D playing 2000 miles from home.

With Frank Gore and J.Stewart on my bench due to byes, I'm starting Fargas as my RB2 along with Willie Parker. I dropped Edge to pick him up. I also picked up Ryan Torain, but I figured I'd wait a week on him and see what he does. 12 team league, std scoring.

Seems like confidence is low on Fargas. I am starting Chris Johnson and would like to start Fargas over White. White has scored in every game but one, but the relying on White to score 2 td's is tough. I wish I had more confidence in Fargas.

At flex, I'd start Fargas at FLEX over any WR not in the top-10 this week.

I'm contemplating givin' him the nod over Addai.

Fargas over Jennings is a classic sign of over-managing (in my opionion) -- from a Fargas owner. The addage of never benching your studs should be followed. GB will not be able to run on Tenn...so GB will have to pass. Rodgers will likely have at least 30-35 attempts. Jennings should get 10-12 targets. Jennings deserves the title of a Stud in my opinion.

starting him in all 3 leagues I own him, fairly easy choice for only big name guy I am playing him over is in the flex for Braylon

over Larry Johnson (inactive again -- what a putz), Warrick Dunn (hurt -- out), and Edge (will be a pass-fest, and he's being surpassed by Hightower). also starting Adrian Peterson and Kevin Faulk.

I cannot decide if I am going to start him over McGahee or not. Over the last two games McGahee has shown some life (FINALLY)... and while the match up with the Falcons favors Fargas, I am not comfortable with assuming he is goign to be a big part of the offence today. Cable just has not proven to show a committment to the run over this 3 games as HC.

... Ugh... 30 mintues to make a decision!

The Falcons would have to want to make russel throw. THey should play for the run no matter how bad their D is....that is what guides my decision. Until The raiders show they can throw the rock, i would be afriad to use Fargas unless I had no other viable options.

McGahee splitting carries with Rice and McClain.

I know he is, but I still see that only as an equalizer with Fargas. I think McGahee with about 15 carries = what Fargas will do with 20.

+1 from a Packers fan (obviously). GB is going to have to throw and we haven't shown that we can run the ball effectively at all this season until our game against the Colts. I'd play Jennings over Fargas. I'm a Fargas owner too.For the LenDale/Johnson owner, I'd start the both. GB has had problems stopping the run this year. Having Harrell back will help us, but I still think we're weak as a run D. I'm not looking forward to this game, and I hope I'm wrong...but I think Tennessee RBs will be a good play this week.

Well, lost out on 5.3 pts. Would rather have them, but not all that bad. Still, 6 carries and no receptions? Ick.

Edited to add: Should have started Hightower over both.

I'll raise my hand at not only starting him, but also thinking he would have a solid day... Can't wait for McFadden to comeback.

Almost everyone thought he would have a solid day. Most projection sites had him around 80-90 yards. That was pathetic. Russell is terrible and the playcalling isn't so hot now that Kiffin is gone. He looked more like someone who should be dropped than started.
