Fargo TV series on FX - season 3 starts TONIGHT 4/19!!! (1 Viewer)

I am a little confused about the "hunting" where they were ambushed. How did the other crew know about that.
That was a bit confusing. However, grandma commented that she thought they'd still negotiate. Additionally, the parties have always seemed to know where the other ones are at any point (KC came to the house/compound, they knew they were in the doughnut shop, etc.). But I'd imagine the Fargo family essentially owns the town so they have eyes and ears everywhere. So, likely they'd be tipped off about a meeting with the zoning inspector.

Weird that the ***** let Thing 2 live after killing Thing 1 and knocking him out.
Yeah, I don't agree with that at all. All I can think of is they want a witness to what they can do and someone to give the head in the box to Mike. He still should have killed him though.

Unrelated: Washington Injuns?
also why try and kill the butcher in public ? the Indian guy was at the house so he knew where they lived ...the driver told the brother ''no witnesses ''....i know the writers wanted to burn down the butcher shop but that didnt make sense
I never heard the Native American guy tell anybody about where he lived. Although admittedly that would seem like relevant info he probably would have or should have shared.

Right...he was literally in the house when they came home one night...then the cop showed up

man, I thought the Kitchen bros were gonna be invincible badasses, but it looks like Hanzee is your #1 draft choice.

this is easily the best show on TV right now. still need more Ron Swanson, though.

For all you old guys out there, doesn't the actor who plays mike milligan bear an uncanny resemblance to Lionel from All in the Family?

See, now this show knows how to kill off significant characters.
When it goes in knowing that it's only really a one season run, it does make that easier. But I do agree that knowing that no one is safe makes the drama all that much better.

We know Lou Solverson, Molly Solverson and Ben Schmidt are going to live. Ronald Reagan is also going to live past the end of the season.

The Native American guy didn't have a say in who went out and did the job. The mom just wants him dead and Dodd is taking the 'do it now' approach, hence sending out the two goons out in broad daylight. To me, a mistake like that makes sense because everybody is all keyed up and are probably not thinking straight.

So how many Gerharts are left now? I guess the ones killed in the opening scene were just "hired help"?
Toby in the opening scene?

Love this show so far.

With the cold feeling of the dunst character I really thought she was taking the $700 and trucking it to Cali on the bus.

Agreed.

I am calling it right now. Mike Milligan is an alien. He is also either the same being or is related in some alien way to Lorne Malvo. They speak in almost the same exact cadence. There has to be some sort of link there.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say "no way."

Also, wasn't there the impression that "the butcher" was some kind of contract killer or something? We know that's not true but if it were you might be better off taking a guy like that at his "cover" job than trying to take him at home.

I thought that was just the way Dodd was trying to sell it to the mom?

It was, but he didn't tell Virgil(?) or the nephew any different did he?

so i just thought id mention how much i love the soundtrack on this show ...im a 70`s kid /teen and the songs bring back great memories

Best show on at the moment. The episodes are usually over an hour long and I still don't want it to end when it's over. A nearly perfect show.

Did I miss the "significant" character being killed?
Bulo and Thing 2. I didn't call them main characters, but they're definitely "significant" compared to say just some red shirt.
Yeah, I was sincerely asking.
Based on the walking dead thread I assumed that tv show threads are no places for jokes and sarcasm.
