And, you know, Milligan acted like he was the undertaker.
_maybe he just shot that guy for calling him an eggplant ...maybe that was just room service being racist
Is eggplant a racist term?

eta: The Internet tells me it is. Never heard of that one.
You never saw True Romance?

How did Ed know how to get hold of Mike Milligan?
Really?
Yeah, really. How did he even know who Mike Milligan was?
Was wondering this too. I'm sure I forgot something though.
My first thought was the Indian (who was following Ed at the end of the previous episode), was forcing Ed to do it, in an attempt to lure Milligan. Though after Ed made the phone call, they never showed him with the Indian. Or maybe the cops, now working with the Gerhardts, caught up with Ed and are in on it.
This makes sense. No need to show the indian until next episode.

thx
well that answers that...newspaper

Holy crap this episode is amazing. Funniest thing ive seen in a long time. Never been a big fan of Dunst but shes amazing in this episode. Im talking emmy award stuff here.

I just finished season 1, but it's been months since I saw the early episodes.

A question I'll throw into a spoiler tag:

Colin Hanks is about to shoot Billy Bob, and he says he figured out the answer to the riddle... then shoots him. What was the riddle?

Jesus...if Breaking Bad level status hadn't been achieved before tonight's episode, it sure as #### has been now.

Every week, edge of my seat. Can't get enough.

A show of hands - how many saw the ***** putting a cap in Dodd the second Dodd called him a half breed?

I did. Still, it was a jawdrop moment.

So awesome.

Hanzie turning on Dodd was interesting. Saw it coming but found it curious since he seemed to have his back no matter what. He just losing it?

Also the dunst - Dodd scenes were great. ##### is crazy.

No turning back after he shot the cops. Dodd wasn't much use to him at that point.

Seems so. The thing on the building about 22 Sioux being hanged (and the desicration), the bartender, the hecklers outside the bar, the cops saying "freeze, Cochese", and Dodd calling him half breed and mongrel..although he made up his mind before the Dodds incident that he was tired of being labeled and discriminated against...Dodd's comments put him over the edge.

"why can the eye see more shades of green than any other color? "
“How can the human eye can see more shades of green than any other color? ‘Cause of predators. Used to be, monkeys we were, right? And in the woods, in the jungle, everything’s green. So in order to not get eaten by panthers and bears and the like, we had to be able to see them, you know, in the grass, and trees and such. Predators”

So many Funny lines. "Oh, that's right.. you didn't want beans"... :lmao:

Funny episode

Hoping some folks can clear up some plot items for me

-When Peggy captures Dodd, where did Hanzee go? Ed comes back, they load him in the car and drive off while Hanzee is nowhere to be seen. Had Janzee already turned on Dodd? Was it foreshadowing him killing Dodd?

- after Dodd broke free, why didn't he just kill Peggy? Did he underestimate her? He knew she was crazy

Hanzee has cinsustently been one of smartest characters if not the smartest character, along with being cool as a cucumber ....his murderous meltdown seemed a little out of place...but I guess I can buy it...

Dodd has has been consistently shown to be reckless and arrogant. He also told Peggy he was going to see the back of his hand. He also mentioned how he was going to have fun tearing her apart. He also could have easily killed Butcher with a knife, harmer, axe..., but he likes to #### with people. Lots of cues.
