haven't even heard rumors of interest.

Vic Carucci (a Buffalo Bills insider) was on a local radio station talking about how there is absolutley zero interest in Losman. Seems he lost himself millions, if not his entire career during the Jets game and how he handled everything at the end of that game. Carucci said he wouldn't be suprised one bit if Losman was not playing football in the NFL next year.

In my opinion, I don't think he is smart enough or mature enough to play in the NFL. I can't stand the guy. Every time I've ever talked to him he just seems like a complete idiot. I at least think he will never start another football game in the NFL for the rest of his career.

Adam SchefterFormer Eagles TE Smith, Bucs LB June have optionsPosted: Adam Schefter | Adam Schefter | Tags: Atlanta Falcons, Cleveland Browns, Detroit Lions, L.J. Smith, Philadelphia Eagles, Tampa Bay BuccaneersFree agency’s initial wave is over. But the second wave also has some compelling players.Free-agent tight end L.J. Smith, who spent six seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles, is scheduled to arrive in Detroit tonight for a visit with the Lions on Wednesday. The Lions have a need at tight end, and Smith could be an ideal fit in Detroit. But two other teams also need a tight end, and Smith would be a logical fit for either.Since the Atlanta Falcons lost Alge Crumpler last year, they have been in search of a starting-caliber tight end. The need for one has become even more important because Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan likes to throw to a tight end. Perhaps Smith could be an answer. The Cleveland Browns also might be in the market for a tight end, so Smith could have some options.Meanwhile, former Tampa Bay Buccaneers linebacker Cato June is scheduled to arrive in Buffalo tonight for a visit with the Bills on Wednesday. June was released by Tampa Bay last week.

I thought LJ Smith had signed with Atlanta, guess there were some premature reports.

I'm surprised Sean Jones and Jermaine Phillips have gotten no interest, especially from the Eagles.

Tra Thomas? 34 year old LTs should have something left, and this guy is a 2x all pro and played on a team that set a team record (i think it was a team record) for fewest sacks allowed in 2008.

With how quickly the eagles jumped on Andrews, who is a RT coming off a serious injury, I'm surprised other teams aren't jumping on Thomas. Though, as an Eagles fan, I really don't mind - hope he resigns.

i was sitting in a webchat with the beat writers from the times-pic and someone brought up devery. apparently, he was in contact with seattle (which seems unlikely now with housh signed) but beyond that interest has been slight. they thought the saints would like to have him back but aren't going to pay much to keep him. i could see a team like oakland or jacksonville signing him.

why are people surprised these guys aren't getting interest, they probably want way more $ than they are worth which isn't much, of course the way teams are throwing around money this year, lol.....

I'm surprised Sean Jones hasnt gotten interest(that I know of), but Phillips is scheduled to visit Seattle and San Diego.I'm really hoping we sign one of these guys as either would be a huge upgrade over Brian Russell.

Great thread topic massraider,That said, LJ has never looked the same since the injuries started happening, Igor just isn't all that good(I was hoping SD might take a run at upgrading with Canty before he signed with the Giants) and Tank has so much baggage it wouldn't really surprise me if he had to take what he gets.... maybe even having to wait for some team to get hit by the injury bug or have a holdout on the DL.I completely agree with the others though.

Sounds like Lamont Jordan should be close in the next couple of days with AZ. He was grinding pretty good toward the end of last season. If he's in shape, we know he can catch but his prolonged nagging injuries are always a concern.

Any news about Ronald Curry?
Did he ever fully recover from that Achilles injury? He didn't seem to bounce back too quickly... or was he held back by... wait for it......................... coaching decisions?
You are as useful as a chocolate teapot.
Sorry, I thought you might have an opinion or information about his time since his injury until his release from the Oakland.
Curry was a starter for two years after that injury, in 2006 and 2007. He had 62 and 55 catches those years. Last year OAK decided to go with the younger guys. It had nothing to do with a 4 year old achilles injury.

Also sorry, I thought your questions were sarcasm. I don't know what is going on with him and was wondering if any team was looking to sign him.

I am a steelers fan living in the philly area. If they don't re-sign Thomas, what is your soulution for his replacment? They have absolutely NO ONE that can fit there and not sure a late 1st round pick is the answer either. I think they should re-sign him for a couple years, can't hurt at all.

Any news about Galloway or what's going to happen with Plax?
I heard on Fox Sports Radio this afternoon that Giants brass (not sure who it was) commented that Plax would be welcomed back to the Giants after his legal issues have been resolved. Take it for what it's worth...

I thought we'd hear more about Bryant McFadden. At one time I thought he figured prominently in PIT's plans at CB and a lot of NFL teams could do worse than McFadden. Maybe the Foxworth deal is slowing his negotiations. I'm sure his agent doesn't want him signing for a penny less than the 4yr/$28mil/$16.5mil Foxworth got.

He was in Zona yesterday, and they supposedly were discussing contract terms (signing didn't seem imminent from reading this link).http://www.azcentral.com/members/Blog/KentSomers/47442

Not a problem, posting on the internet prohibits the subtle verbal inflections that would have made my post a little more agreeable. He's a hell of an athlete. Had hoped to see him stay on for the long haul in OAK, but I guess they have other plans. He did have a pretty bad season, though.... chocolate teapot... nice. That is quote worthy. I'm gonna use it at work today, thanks.

I was hoping that Minnesota would sign him. Even at 210 lbs, he would be the Vikings heaviest WR and would be more suited to play the slot against physical corners like Charles Woodsen. He probably would not be fantasy factor but he could occasionally post up in the end zone for a TD or two. BTW: Chocolate teapot is something I stole from a Dalzeil and Pascoe murder mystery.
