Fasano's value (1 Viewer)

Fasano is TE 18 and projected for 436yds and 4tds.

Martin was 307 and 2 tds.

Does another TE pick up that slack, or will Fasano now be the featured TE in Miami?

MIA - TE David Martin will be released from team

Source: Omar Kelly - the South Florida SunSentinel

Omar Kelly, of the South Florida SunSentinel, reports the Miami Dolphins have reached an injury settlement with TE David Martin (knee), and will release him, according to a league source.

I was just mulling this over for my set of projections on the site, and agree this raises Fasano's upside. I viewed Fasano as a bit of an overvalued option because of Martin's productive play combined with the fact Fasano really benefited from an inordinate number of TD catches. But with the lack of receiving weapons there, and the fact Haynos, Drew and Nalbone are hardly threats to play major offensive roles, it's harder for me to project Fasano as anything less than a decent TE2. :blackdot:

Great question ==> :blackdot:

I've already been leaning toward thinking Fasano was being underestimated a bit in the projections.
