Fast Casual Restaurants - Firehouse Subs (1 Viewer)

When discussing Fast Casual restaurants many might choose Chipotle or Panera. Most addicting to me is Firehouse Subs.

The bread. The sauce. Coca-Cola Freestyle. Medium could be a little bigger at $9.75 for a combo, but it tastes awesome.

Panera is my favorite. There's one two minutes away, and online ordering with their app is quick and easy. There's even a side door that's 3 steps away from where they leave the pickup orders. I don't have to wait in line or mingle with any undesirables. And their food is pretty good for the price point.

Which Wich is great. It's what Subway should be. I just wish there were more of them around.

Walked into a Which Wich one time. I was told it was a 45 minute wait for one sandwich.

That's the truth about their selection of hot sauces. Mighty impressive. Also, I like that they rank their subs in popularity, so if you order a #1 it's their top seller.

I like Firehouse. I like Jersey Mikes better. Subway is an abomination.

Was thinking about local places and i remembered a place from when I was stationed in Fayetteville. The name escapes me but it was the definition of hole in the wall. Just really small. Old guy from Jersey ran it. The subs were huge and tasted great. I couldn't finish a large always was a two serving meal.

I wonder if if is just my lack of ability to go to one regularly, but whenever I head south, I have to stop at a Bojangles. This may not be the type of restaurant you're talking about, but their Fried Chicken is delicious!

They're fast food but pretty good as well. I usually get a salad, sometimes a chicken sandwich or tenders. Comparable to Chick-Fil-A but you're not supporting evangelical bigots.

The shark move at Moe's - most of the time they put one scoop of meat on their burritos/tacos/nachos, and charge for double meat if you ask for more. Instead, as for half chicken/half steak (or whatever other meat combo floats your boat). The vast majority of the time the knucklehead that works there will put one scoop of each and not charge you for double meat.

In all honesty Panera might be my least favorite restaraunt. I guess their bagels are ok but their soup and sandwiches are dreadful

Firehouse is by far my top sub place. Hook and Ladder on wheat fully involved is the way to go.
