I listened to "Cheap Trick- Live at Budakon" in the gym this morning. I almost forgot how great that album is.

What is your favorite Cheap Trick song?

Please use the "other" choice if there's a great, lesser-known song by them that you like. I'm looking for some great, undiscovered CT tunes, but they have a huge catalog to start from.

Can you honestly tell me that you forgot the magnetism of Robin Zander or the charisma of Rick Nielsen?

My favorites are probably a couple off of All Shook Up - "Stop This Game" and "Baby Loves To Rock".

I think BY FAR the most underrated Cheap Trick album is this one.

And my favorite Cheap Trick song is an obscure tune off that album: High Priest of Rhythmic Noise

There's a Cheap Trick tribute band that plays now and again around the Chicago area - not too bad.

Voted "I Want You to Want Me", but only the hard live version with Rick Neilsen's improv guitar licks. The studio version on In Color is no more than a snappy little ditty.

Who didn't own a copy of Budokan when it came out??? A mainstay in the day and even today. Zamboni already quoted him, but Damons rendition of Dream Police is awesome.

Dream Police, followed by Surrender.

I'd be happy to never hear I Want You to Want Me ever again.

i can't narrow down a favorite.

Live at Budakon was one of my first albums.
Agreed, can't narrow down to a single song. However, In Color is my favorite album of theres
In Color is the best studio Cheap Trick. There is a live bootleg out there called Samurai Rock Band that is among the best recorded performances I've ever heard. Budakon--Tom Peterson's bass, specifically--sounds positively neutered compared to it.

"Speak Now (Or Forever Hold Your Peace)" off of the first album. Kurt Cobain must have listened to that album. A lot.
