Favre has never had 3 - 300 yard games in a row (1 Viewer)

Curious as in 15 years Favre has never thrown 3 - 300 yard games in a row, and now faces a Phili D he struggled against last year on the road on MNF.

Does you believe he make 3 in a row or is this a clunker?

Persoanlly, I think the Pack only win on his arm Monday night, and even though I think they lose this game, I think he does go for 300.

Call it a hunch, but 0 points from the GB offense wouldn't surprise me.

Yeap. Philly D has injuries. Philly D isn't great against the pass. Favre will put up big yardage, some points, and of course some picks.

Sounds like a bad hunch.Against the Bears maybe, but against the 7th worst defense? Philly isn't what they were last year and the Packers are getting better weekly.Statistically they are worse than Tenn, Cleveand and SF and lost Kearse for the year. Not to mention Hood.Favre is making better decisions, the line is better, and Favre has Greg Jennings. Lookout. All he had last year was Driver.

GTP is a wonderful thing in fantasy football. Only reason I don't start Favre is because I have McNabb. ;)

Let's hope the Eagles never get up by more than 14 so they keep attacking the entire game. Blowing that lead to the Giants might be the best thing to happen to the fantasy value of BOTH McNabb and Westbrook. Yes, I'm very bias though..........

As for Favre, I see 310, 2-3 TD's and 2 picks.

I hope so, but I still don't trust this offense, hence the reason why I'm starting Carr over Favre. If I'm wrong, so be it, but this game smells like a Philly shutout.

:goodposting: This makes sense to me - but when does that actually matter on Monday night football? :wall: ;) I think Favre goes off.

Sometimes these stats are deceiving. I'm wondering how many QB's have passed for 300 yards 3 games in a row? It might be a bigger feat than we think.

Good question - can anyone crunch the stats?

He may not have gone 3 games in a row with 300 yards, but he HAS gone 3 games in a row with 290 yards. That's good enough for me. :D

Philly's terrible defense has the best pass rush in the league, and that is true even without Kearse. a good pass rush means Brett is going to be rushed and on his back quite a bit. I think he yardage will be good as Philly's secondary is banged up, but a rushed Farve = more picks that TDs.

Favre never had 3 straight games of 300 passing yards (neither has Manning), but Gannon had a stretch of 6 in a row (as has Warner). Go figure.

Agreed. cr8f, I'm not sure which position you're arguing by saying this is not the Philly D from last year. They were horrible last year, so saying they are not the same D would be supporting their D holding Favre? If you watch the Eagles they fall apart in the 4th quarter. Up to then they are stellar. 1st drive and 4th quarter is when they look bad. It's only a matter of time until their D can play that 4th quarter. And losing Hood really isnt much of a loss... he hasn't been playing well anyway. Yes, the loss of Kearse hurts, but the Eagles have arguably the deepest D-line in football. Thomas and Trent Cole have really stepped up. The loss of Kearse shouldn't be a breaker.

 Last year they were the 21st ranked pass defense, 23rd ranked overall defense, and 27th ranked in points allowed.
