Favre or Brees (1 Viewer)

Brees finally had a decent game and pulled off the victory. Favre stumbled from his numbers on the year. Who looks to have a favorable rest of the season? I personally see Favre slightly above Brees but could that change?? Can't catch a Colston is not the same and no running doesn't look good. Favre has the tendency to throw up those "Favre prayers" that are often picked. what are we looking at?

The Pack have less running game then the Saints do. They are incredibly one dimensional, so I guess that can help Favre's numbers. But you noticed that he's starting to revert to his high INT ways. I watched both of these games yesterday and Brees looked much better. Favre was playing against a tougher D and in poor weather (he had at least 1 TD taken away by iffy calls) and under threw some wide open guys too. Brees was consistently hitting guys in the numbers, even on difficult down/distance situations. I'd rate them about even, but with the Saints having a worst D then the Pack, I like the Saints having to pass more in games. Green Bay will have to try to establish some running once the weather turns to crap and they're playing for the playoffs right? If I had to pick, I'd take Brees.

this post is not for my own personal advantage. I enjoy matching up players to get different perspectives. For ex. Fitz or S. Smith both in the most similar of situations.... just posing questions.. not starters
