Green Bays usually has not been good at stopping ADP. The only way Farve goes off and has a big day is if GB stacks the line of scrimmage to stop ADP. Otherwise ADP has a big day and Farve not so big. I do think Farve will burn GB once for a long TD though. We all know Favre isn't the man he used to be....is he still a viable fantasy QB when the matchup is right?
Disagree. GB's D is very good. although they've not really showed that yet. I think GB wins this game outright and Favre throws in a clunker for fantasy teams. ADP will likely find the endzone once though. I just have a feeling that Rodgers goes off this game as well.I see AP all night long and this one could end up ugly. SF showed the blueprint to stopping the Vikings - stop AP. That is something I do not think Green Bay is gonna be able to do.I scooped up Favre late in my draft to cover Cutlers bye week 5. Will hope he goes off against the Rams then try to sell high.
Umm...GB's D is not very good. They might end up...ok, but so far...not great. However, lost in Jackson's overall good day was how well they did holding him from some big runs and keeping his yards per carry down for most of the game. In the end...few longer runs and it got up there (and Im not advocating the "take away that run and they held him to" attitude at all here). They won't just stop ADP though. He is too good. Id say 150 and a TD or 2 is likely. If they can keep Rodgers up right...I think he will outperform Favre easily in FF.Disagree. GB's D is very good. although they've not really showed that yet. Exactly what I did, and I think he will do great next week. Not so sure about this week, though.I scooped up Favre late in my draft to cover Cutlers bye week 5. Will hope he goes off against the Rams then try to sell high.
Come on sho. They got torched by Cedric Benson and Jackson back to back weeks. They cannot stop the run right now, and my gut tells me facing the best runner in the leauge isn't the key to figuring out how to fix that. I'd like to be more optimistic, but all signs point to a big day from Peterson. If the D can't get off the field, the Vikings run away with this one.Umm...GB's D is not very good. WHo said they could stop the run.I say ADP would not be stopped and 150 and a TD or 2 was likely?Come on sho. They got torched by Cedric Benson and Jackson back to back weeks. I thought Sho was going to head in here and disagree with me. He gave a pretty legit view on the Pack D(who is my fantasy defense this year). Not all of sho's posts are homer-iffic, MiTYH is who said that GB's D is very good.On the road against the #1 RB in football just spells trouble to me. If they can find a way to limit him like SF did, however, that GB offense is good enough to get a much needed divisional road win.ETA: anyone have stats on AP in MNF games?WHo said they could stop the run.I say ADP would not be stopped and 150 and a TD or 2 was likely?Come on sho. Favre is good start this week, I'd roll with him if I didn't have a top-8 QB starter. He started slow, throwing only a few passes per game, none downfield. But remember, he had almost no camp or preseason. Weeks 1-2 were basically his preseason, Week 3 was the first game he looked good. Minny is opening it up a little more each week & I think they'll be a much better (& more balanced) offense as the year goes on.I see Favre with an upside of QB12, downside of QB18. A solid backup & a guy you could start if your top QB goes down.
this about sums it up..
