I thought it might be fun to see the thoughts and picks of the board after the season was over. I realize that there are still the bowl games, all star games, combine, workouts and some players haven't declared yet, etc.; but this should go quick so we can always do another one in a month or so. I'll post a new team once to twice a day depending on how close it is; with the player previously selected being off the board. If it is close, we'll have a run-off. Any thoughts you'd like to add as we do this would be great.

1.1 - Oakland Raiders - Brady Quinn QB, Notre Dame

1.2 - Detroit Lions - Joe Thomas OT, Wisconsin

1.3 - Cleveland Browns - Adrian Peterson RB, Oklahoma

1.4 - Tampa Bay Bucs -

1.5 - Arizona Cardinals

Right now, the poll for the TB fourth pick shows the WR in the lead.

Anyone who has followed the bucs this year knows that while they are not lighting the world on fire with their WRs, DEFENSE is where this team is hurting the most for talent and depth.

The bucs desparately need to focus this year's draft on defense, where they need almost every position, but especially Defensive Line (End especially) and Safety.

I chose the Safety because I have seen him play and also because I think there is depth at DE in the draft this year.

I agree w/ DenverBuc about the defense, but I went with Adams. He is a pass rush monster (I don't hold this opinion, but is only the concensus) and with Rice getting on in years and the recent departure of D-line talent, I go there. I could also see Branch, but of the interior or outside, I think the bigger need is outside.

I love Johnson personally. He is huge w/ good hands and vertical. He's got decent speed but is a tremendous route runner for a man his size. I have a hard time believing he lasts much longer than this unless he runs a 4.65 or worse (yeah, like Boldin).

ETA - I doubt he runs the 40 before the draft anyways.
