FBG Depth charts (1 Viewer)

Does anyone know if FBG ever plans on adding Oline positions to the depth chart? Seems a rather critical piece of information IMO.

Chris Smith does a great job with his O-line previews every year. I've wondered about adding this info as well just as a reference tool, but I think the FBG depth charts are mainly for fantasy purposes and I don't think there are a lot of leagues out there that use offensive linemen.

No, there aren't any leagues that use Olinemen. However, Olinemen greatly impact the success of teams. As the season unfolds injuries happen and it would be extremely useful IMO to be able to quickly view the Oline depth so we can make prompt decisions as to how that may effect the overall production of the offensive unit. Maybe I'm alone on this though.

Not true. There are leagues that use OLine. EFS being one of them-

No, you're not alone.

I gotta be honest. Off the top of my head I can list the starting QB, 2-4 RBs, TE, and at least the top 3 WR's for every single team. I'd be lucky if I could name more then 2 linemen for any team other then my team (Philly), or maybe a couple of our closest rivals (NYG, Wash).

I suspect the vast majority of us are the same way. I can acknowledge that such information could have usefullness, but what good is kowing the backup when you don't know jack-s about the starter? Why would we wanna clog up the depth charts we all use with info almost none of us will use?

I don't see how it would clog things up. There is a filter option on the depth charts anyway. If you don't want to see the Oline guys, you can filter them out and unclog things if you will. Maybe if people had accurate depth charts they would know more about the Oline guys as well? I don't know. For a site and customer base that prides it's self on offering the most complete fantasy football information out there, quite frankly I can't believe that this isn't taken more seriously. Sure it's a decent amount of work, but isn't that the kind of work that is to be expected?
