I swear I read somewhere on this forum that the app was included in your FBG subscription. Did I dream that up? I know the Draft GM app was separate, but I thought this was included for some reason.

All the content is here. It just won't be provided in a "magazine" format......you know, fancy pictures, layout and what not. You may have to hunt for things on the website which are quickly accessible from the magazine app, too.....(the magazine apps "quick links" to articles from other sources comes to mind.)

A lot of people have asked this question and there's a lot of reasons why it's this way.
One of the most prominent is that Apple just don't allow us to give away apps to certain customers and to charge others. The reason for this (and one that has hit a lot of companies that have tried to sell their product through iOS, such as Skype top ups) is that Apple want a cut of the cost of the app. So if we were effectively charging for the app as a part of the subscription, they'll come knocking for their share.
So if we want to be able to sell the app to non subscribers, we can't also make it free to subscribers.
There are benefits to selling through the iTunes store; this is one of the drawbacks.

Quick question, any plans on making the magazine app a universal app so it can work on my iPhone and iPad?
I was holding out on buying the Draft GM app because I knew the Magazine App included the Draft GM app.
Also, does the drafting kit update VBD and rankings on the fly as your draft?
For example, I pick McCoy up in the first round, would the app automatiaclly bump up Bryce Brown a few spots since it would obviosuly be a good diea to handcuff McCoy?

We'd love to make the magazine universal, but there's just too much content to fit onto a phone screen!
The draft kit updates VBD and rankings by need as you go through the draft.

Footballguys didn't do an app last year for the iPad; last year I developed separate apps under the moniker GOAheadScore. It was also called the FF Draft GM.
The Draft GM this year is redeveloped from the ground up and is a much improved version - hopefully this is what you're looking for!

Can the magazine app be read offline?

If it's anything like the Draft GM APP< then when you start it up it connects online to download the latest updates. I would assume that if you don't have internet access, the magazine app would still be functional, just that the content wouldn't update.
