FBG Magazine (1 Viewer)

Jack Ham & Eggs

I didn't pre-order the FBG mag, but I'm ready to read it after hearing all the reviews. Has it hit any newsstands? If not, what is the ETA on its arrival? I was at Borders a couple of days ago and they had tons of different ones, but no FBG.

:goodposting: Same here. I should have ordered, but didn't. :(

ETA: I checked the Topeka barnes & noble, couldn't find it.

Found it at the Barnes & Noble in Rockville, MD yesterday.

It now occupies a highly prominant position in the sports magazines area, after I performed some furtive reshuffling of the display. About a dozen copies. You can't miss it...

Small world. I was in there yesterday, must have been just after you.I noticed the FGBs mag right up front. Took me about 20 seconds to hide it on the top row behind a fantasy baseball rag.

(didn't want my friends finding it - alls fair in love and war)

 Is FF love or war?

Last weekend I was at the Davis-Kidd in Green Hills Mall in Nashville, and I'll be darned if the FBG mag wasn't the only fantasy mag on the shelf. They had about 20 copies of it in a prominent end-of-the-aisle display, along with an NFL preview mag (Street & Smith's) and a college preview mag (Lindy's IIRC). No other football mags in the store.

Small world indeed. I live five minutes from there.

All these Marylanders scare me.

Any Canadian sightings yet? I'm going to Chapters later today, hoping to see it
Bought it today at Chapters in Kitchener, Ontario.
Got mine at Chapters in Langley, BC. :coffee:
Bought it at Chapter's in Montreal this morning...Finally able to get feedback from writers of a FF mag, as how and why their opinion is on that side of the fence and not the other - that's why I bought it...

I got mine at Shinders in Roseville, MN a while ago (while all the people were angry about it being shelved too early), but I noticed last year that Borders never carried it. So, I would suggest Barnes and Noble (where I got mine last year) or somewhere other than Borders.

Honestly- WTF is the point when you get all the info on the website anyway??
You know, reading the magazine has made me ask this very question. I have learned nothing new that I haven't seen on the website. Plus, since none of my 9 other leaguemates know about this site (thus my domination), it's not like I'll bring the mag to the draft either as to not turn anyone onto it.I will admit that the breakdown of WLB, MLB, SLB and other defensive positions was pretty helpful.

It does make for excellent bathroom reading, though.

for the guys looking for the FBG magazine that did not preorder, I saw it today at he branes and noble in Denver CO, just FYI

FWIW, at home I find it more comfortable to sit down with the mag than to stare at a computer screen. 8 hours of that at the office is enough.

milwaukee area - was out in the suburbs with the gf yesterday so i figured i'd pick it up...

barnes & noble brookfield square: nope

barnes & noble mayfair mall: yes

Saw them at Books A Million in Wilson, North Carolina. On the bottom shelf in their own display, away from the rest of the FF mags on the upper shelves.

Saw it yesterday at the Barnes and Noble in Grand Rapids, Michigan on 28th Street yesterday. It is on a display rack at the side of the magazine aisle with some other magazines.

Can anybody tell me who got this (or anyone who knows for certain) if the free camp updates code is included with the maagazine you buy in the stores or is it just for people who pre-ordered

This is just for people that buy it online. It is included with all online orders (pre-ordered or now)

Barnes and Noble in Edmond, OK

I buy one fantasy mag per year just to lug around for those times when I need something to do...Bathroom, court (job, not lawbreaking), etc., etc....In the end, the mag really is useless b/c everything is updated on the site.

thanks for the info

This magazine is no where to be found in Madison, Wisconsin.

Not because it is sold out either, never delivered here.

Just picked up my copy today from my local Barnes & Noble. Great job guys! Lots of content! The defensive breakdowns were fantastic!

I have looked at the Borders in Methuen Mass, the Barnes and Noble in Salem, NH and the Borders in Boston...and none of the 3 places had it!! But all had seemingly every other FF mag there is. :o

Is there anyone out there who has seen the FBG magazine on news stands in the NH/Mass area at all?

I bought it this week at my local Barnes and Noble in Indiana. I think there was only one left after I bought mine.

The place I bought it last year and again went to get it this year has every football mag available but footballguys was not there. :(

or better yet, is there any staffers or anyone who knows anything about how the shipments were handled. i.e., how distribution of mags to certain areas? if so, was there any at all sent out to any stores in NH/Mass area? and if so, where? sorry, but i'm desperate. :X

I've never found the mag anywhere - in Phoenix and now Chicagoland.

I think its a massive hoax and conspiracy intended to drive more subscriptions to the paid content. I heard from a guy who is a friend of the guy who is behind the guy who said the Bush administration is somehow involved also. :tinfoilhat:
