FBG Post NFL Draft Mock (1 Viewer)

5.10 DeShaun Foster, RB - Carolina

At this point in the draft I was looking for RB depth. Foster is very talented, has an excellent cast around him and is coming off an injury. A broken collarbone is not as serious as a knee liagment injury. I really feel like Stephen Davis is done, despite the rumors his agent is spreading at this time. The RB cupboard is bare at this point anyway.

5.07 (per pm)....Family Matters selects:

ALGE CRUMPLER, TE
Thanks RBMThe reason I went TE & Crumpler: There were only 2 TE's remaining (Crumpler & Shockey) that I felt were worth having at this point. Both are guys you start every week and don't worry about them. I went with Crumpler for 2 reasons. First, he's the focal point of the passing attack. Secondly, he's healthy whereas Shockey seems to be nicked up all the time.

I'll take Larry Johnson and Larry Fitzgerald
wow...LJ huh?
Well, he'll be full-time by the last 4 games, and the playoffs matter most.
Do you think you could have drafted him 2 rounds later?I agree that the odds of Priest staying healthy are slim, but tough to predict when and for how long.

I suspect his ADP will be at least 10-20 picks later...but that doesn't necessarily mean it's a bad pick.

LEE EVANS WR BUF

This kid is gonna blow up this year. JP has some great talent around him and should benefit from a great RB and a WR threesome that can catch the rock.

Just gotta work on that friggin' OL.

No, I don't think so. I think in your average draft, that was my last shot to get him.

I select Derrick Mason - WR - Baltimore RavensAnalysis: Another consistent 90+ catch WR for my team in the Ravens' most recent addition Derick Mason. He'll provide good depth and a great bye week fill in for Moss and Ward.

6.6 Kerry CollinsWell, 7 QB's are already off the board leaving 1 or 2 with huge up side. Collins is probably the one with the most upside although I'm not a true believer yet. There are 2 other QB's I like here also and would have preferred to wait 1 more round, yet I don't think he'll be there in 7. It's not a reach in the 6th but I feel like his upside warrants the pick now. Interesting so far in that as I look at my team I have players that provide huge upside but come higher than normal risks:Collins: Will Moss make him better than he showed last year?Bell: Will he stay healthy?Jones: Has matured enough to take his game to the elite level?Walker: Will he hold out?Arrington: Is he underrated therefore making an excellent value pick in the 4th?Lots of upside, lots of questions. Beginning to look like boom or bust.

6.7 Matt HasselbeckI've been hoping he would fall to me and was very happy when Family Matters took Collins. Hass is a part of an explosive offense and its looks like they'll be retaining Alexander. I think last year was his floor, and I expect him to be a top 5 F.F. QB by the end of the year

This is one of my other choices. Nice pick. 9th QB taken who will outplay his ranking.

6.08 RB TJ Duckett I'm taking the RB left with the best potential to score points each week. The majority of those will likely be by stealing Dunn's TD's, but at this point, I'll take it for my 3rd RB.

6.11 - Kellen WinslowA lot of upside guys left at TE, Gatekeeper selects the one who is the most physically gifted of the remaining, who along with Edwards should be the focal point of an improved passing game.Every teams needs a "soldier."QB: ManningRB: WestbrookRB: JordanRB: BarlowWR: BurlesonTE: Winslow

Very nice pick and about where I expect him to go in most drafts this year as of right now.

we all knew the weekend would be tough. Pretty good looking mock so far (excpet my team). Let's keep it going even if its a snails crawl
Your team looks very solid! The old man Horn will likely be top 8 again! Unless Boldin holds out I don't see what you're worried about outside of Foster's health.
