FBG "Rate My Team" problem (1 Viewer)

I tried entering my team in the "Rate my Team" feature on Footballguys, but got an error message: "We're sorry, but we're having a hard time generating an ID for you."

Is the Rate My Team app down? Or is it something I did? I had no problem using this feature for the first time a couple days ago, and tried it again today using two different email addresses, but got the same error message.

Would appreciate an update on this issue. Thanks.

I have had this a couple of times, usually when I'm exporting from the Dominator. Are you doing that? If so, just try doing it again.

Also, make sure your number of players at each position are at or above the minimum you input and at or below the maximum you input for your league. And make sure all the other settings look right. If nothing else, just try it again (which, admittedly, is really annoying if you're doing it by hand and not on the Dominator.)

I've also had problems trying this from Draft Dominator.

It inputs all my players fine, but when I go to the end and enter my email it gives me the error...

"That's not nearly enough players. C'mon enter a real team"

Huh? The app entered the players and they were all where they should be.

I have gotten the same thing twice before and both times when resubmitting an exsiting team. At that point I just used a different team name and it went through fine. I'm wondering if it utilizes the team name to generate the ID.Try adding a number to the end of your team and see if it goes through.

thanx for the feedback. i did try from the Draft Dominator application and also directly from the "Rate My Team" link on the Footballguys website. I got a different error message from the Dominator application -- saying "couldn't connect" and taking me straight to the Rate My Team page where I'd have to re-enter all the data again.

I did use different team ID's, and even different email addresses -- no dice. But, Chase Stuart, I'll recheck the min/max roster settings and be sure they look good.

I've had moderate success eliminating this error by resubmitting and removing the 'max' roster positions - just leave them all blank.

Mine just displays the team name but that's all.

it now works from Draft Dominator. don't know why it didn't work before.

A bit off topic, but is there a way to import all of the teams from Draft Dominator to the Rate My Team application?

I just manually added all of my league's teams into DD and would like to see some critical feedback.

EDIT: I actually read the topic, lol, but how do I import the teams into DD? Do I save as a file or something?

he meant the Command key. usually the one on either side of the spacebar.

From the "Team Data" tab on DD on the bottom is a link to "Rate this team".
