Join FBG Saturday Night Mock 3

Draft starts at 10:01 pm EST, so make sure you're here a few minutes early.

Post if you're in. We had enough last night, but not all on at once, and had a problem with the draft accidently going live early. Should be fine tonight.

note: if this could please stay in shark pool for a bit so more people can see it, much thanks :thumbup:

Only one person didn't show up, and I think BB is just late. I'll pick for him if he doesn't come back.
 
Can't believe FWP at 14 too... that's pretty high!

Esp. with him being 4th on the depth chart on the goal-line behind VH, Duce and Big Ben.

Think I made a bit of a mistake going with Dillon there. I was debating RB or WR and decided on RB when I saw DD. But then when DD was taken, I shoulda considered WR again. Oh, well.

Reggie Wayne and Gates were both taken right before me........wanted them both.

What a crazy run on WR's in the third round 9 taken

Yea decided to try the stud WR draft and see how it goes. So far so good IMO.
 
Yeah, not a bad combo if you think Brown can handle the load and believe Bell will start.

I like plax a lot this year.

Yeah... there's still half a dozen solid RB2s on the board IMO.
 
Rock Cartwright? That had to have been a mistake? Did Portis accidently run over Ladell Betts and then off a cliff?

 
Guess he was mad because the half dozen RB2s I was talking about all went in rd 6 heh.

 
Bryant in 8th, that's a hella ADP reach, but it's actually not that bad of a pick ya think? He should hit 1k this year...

I didn't want to do that there but thats the only problem being on the Turn. Sometimes you have to reach....didn't feel he would last 23 more picks. Early 9th and I would be ok with it. Of all the WR's left I liked him the best.Thought about Crumpler, but his recent injury news has me worried.

 
I think LJ (Smith) is fairly underrated. Chad Lewis was a primary receiver before TO, so I assume Smith should get his share of targets. Only thing concerning me is hte addition of Matt Schobel this year who might steal some receptions from LJ.

Plus look at his numbers with McNabb when TO was still in there... he was on pace for solid stats. It was a slight head-scratcher, but a solid pick.Ahman Green on the 8/9 turn is a damn steal.

Watson was a slight reach.. was debating between Waton/KRob..

1.) DeAngelo always goes within a few spots of LenDale White in mocks that I particpate in. However, it is sometimes before or after White. What do you guys find to be the case?

2.) LenDale White before Chris Brown: Usually happens this way, is this the same for you all?

3.) Joseph Addai before Dominic Rhodes: 75% of drafts I've seen this occur. However, its not nearly as prevalent as I would think. Pass-blocking skills in limbo for Addai? Cant pick up the system?

4.) Nate Burleson befoe Bobby Engram: Cant say I usually see this happen. At all. Anyone else?

5.) FWP and Dillon top 21 picks?

6.) Drew Bennett so high? Before #1's like Brown, Evans, Jones?

As far as the Rookie Rb's go these drafts are all before preseason.....by the third week of preseason I think some of these trends may reverse themselfs.
