Same here. And I don't like it how when you go back to edit your team, all of your previous picks are erased. It'd be nice if you could see what you had earlier and then just change what you want. I guess you could print it out after you make your picks but that's too much work.

Where can you go to check your roster?

I submitted my team, left the page, then came back to the home page and tried to check my team again, and no luck?

Any ideas?
This link should work: http://subscribers.footballguys.com/playof...checkmyteam.phpLet me know if not.
To check your team... link above... works for me...Staffers, since the deadline has passed, how many teams were submitted?... and, will we be able to see every team submitted? or at least, the number of times a player/defense was selected? (in order to know who to root for and/or against)

You could still submit line-ups this morning so that begs the question - How are they going to handle line-ups submitted after midnight but before the games.

I for one submitted a line-up when I saw the announcement e-mail then went in this morning to update it. The lineup took so now I'm wondering where I stand. I figured that if the deadline had passed the website would lock me out

:(

By my count, that's 86.9 with everybody still alive. Beautiful. I'm sure I have a lot of guys owned by a ton of people - so I need somebody like Joe Horn or Deion Branch to go off. I thought about taking Devery Henderson instead just because few people would have him.

Way back, but have only lost 1 player. The top 30+ teams have all lost at least 3 players each, with the exception of the 9th place team, who has lost 2.

I'm going to take the anti-BnB position and say that none of the top 25 as of right now finishes there in the end.

Interestingly, lots of people (402 to be exact) are mathematically eliminated from finishing first right now. Some of those people are ranked very highly at the moment. For instance, the 73rd-place guy looks like this:

Code:
125.50 | PM SA LJ BW2 PB MH TO JW2 DA NWE
Not too shabby, except for one problem:
Code:
129.30 | PM SA LJ BW2 PB MH TO TG2 DA NWE

Agreed.
Out of the ~8,700 entries, there are about 1,800 that entries that have at least one other identical entry. For those that submitted a entry that is any of the following, you're going to be sharing any prize money won with at least ten other contestants. I'm not a FBG staffer, just someone who can't resist loading up the full contest dataset and querying it.

I'm out with Baltimore D gone. 4 others had my exact entry, and 3 more had all my position players but the Chicago defense instead.

The money play in this was likely not taking Tomlinson. With over 90% of the lineups selecting him, someone could gain a huge edge if he comes up small (or the Chargers don't beat New England). We did the same contest with the staff (but I took Tomlinson with so many less people to beat)

Yup...and it would have been golden if Romo didn't have butterfingers.

Yeah - I thought this as well - that everyone and their mom would pick Tomlinson - and that it would be wise to stray from that - especially since I thought New England had a good chance to beat San Diego. So far - I've done well on which teams I picked guys from - e.g. 2 each from Pats, Colts, Bears, Eagles and one from Saints, but not so much in terms of which guys I picked. I figured the most important thing was picking which teams you thought would play 2 or more games, and then pick only guys from those teams - and don't just pick all the favored teams - as they will be too commonly owned. Picking 2 Colts and Pats players is looking like a great strategy so far, but Manning and Harrison and Maroney have not done much, although Gostkowski is doing fine.

If you could pick now - I think the team to pick would have been something like:

Tom Brady - 39.3

Brian Westbrook - 50.4

Deuce McAllister - 32.3

Thomas Jones - 21.2

Jabar Gaffney - 44.7

Bernard Berrian - 21.5

Marques Colston - 10.5

Jerramy Stevens - 28.5

Vinatieri - 26

Colts D - 20

You'd have 294.4 points and 8 guys still playing.

You could also do some variation like changing out Colts D for Saints or Bears, and inserting Wayne/Harrison/Addai instead of Berrian/McAllister/Jones if you think one of those Colts O guys will go off the rest of the way (Addai already has) and one of the other D's will catch up.

This was my strategy. But even though I was right about the Chargers losing, I was still wrong to omit him, since he still outscored Jamal Lewis by 22 points. In retrospect, I think you still take LT even if you know that the Chargers lose their first game. Just one game from LT could outscore three games from another RB.I'm still in the running at #212, but trying to outsmart the field probably cost me a chance at the money.

Loving my team. Hoping for a NO/Ind or NE SB. NO must win though.

The way the playoffs panned out, the most player games you could have selected for this contest is 28:

Colts: 8 player games

Patriots and Bears: 6 each

Seahawks, Saints and Eagles: 4 each

Chargers, Giants, Chiefs, Ravens, Cowboys, Dallas, Jets: 2 each

So two players from the Colts, Patriots, Bears and any one of the Seahawks, Saints or Eagles would have given you 28 chances to score.

Since LT was on 90+% of rosters almost everyone lost two games there, making the max for most folks 26.

I'm alive with two Colts and two Bears for the SB, but will end up with 22 scoring players. I've still got a shot (I think) at the top 500, but no chance at all to win. It'd be interesting to see how many scoring player game the top teams had.

i.e. was it possible to win picking high-scoring players, but not getting the max of 26/28 games played?

23rd place.

I need huge days from the Indy Wide-outs and the Chicago D to score a TD or 2.

Not totally out of the question, but unlikely.

Dang I wish the Saints would have won, I'd be sitting peachy with Bush/Deuce and Wayne/Harrison.

I still have Wayne, Harrison, Jones, and Chicago D active but I made some poor decisions with my other slots and am still sitting far back in the standings. I should have put some more thought into my picks.

Tied for 18th here. Best I can do is tied for fourth, as three others with more points also have Addai and Marvin. Fun contest! Thanks to FBG for putting it on.

I just corrected a scoring error. The numbers posted earlier did not include team defense scoring. I corrected that, and the currently-posted scores reflect the change.
