2002- amazingly, Orr’s best year was his freshman year, the year before Wisconsin starting relying heavily on the run.

The bolded section is not quite accurate. Alvarez has always been a run first guy and relied heavily on the run. If you look at the stats, Wisconsin had a larger run/pass ratio, more rushes and more rushing yards in 2002 than in any other year Orr was there.
