Im not a huge Pearl Jam fan because i like more aggressive music, but imo Do The Evolution is a top shelf jam. 

The video is super cool too

Pearl Jam used to be my favorite band on earth.  Loved their first three albums.  The next two were hit or miss for me but still mostly good.  I think that's about the time Last Kiss got a ton of airplay, and it was so terrible I actually think it ruined the band for me.  Don't think I've listened to anything they've done since, except for that one song that was a moderate hit a few years ago (?)

Edit: This thread is reminding me how much I really loved their older stuff though, haven't listened to any of it in ages but going to now.

Oh I know, doesn't change how much I hated it.  Not saying it's the only factor, bands change, my tastes changed, me in the year 2000 was much different than me in 1997, etc.  That song has always just been the very clear dividing line between "the part of my life when Pearl Jam was my favorite band" and "the part of my life when I completely forgot Pearl Jam existed."  :shrug:

That was 1993 for me. But I used to listen to those first two albums all the time.

and it was for a charity album.  Think it was meant to be a harmless fun thing that maybe could raise some money for a good cause.  It's actually their best selling single of all time.

So overplayed though and it's my least favorite thing that PJ does.

Didn't like Ten much when it came out, but PJ was played a ton in college when Vs. came out, so that album is the one that I still gravitate to most in the catalogue.
