Pearl Jam used to be my favorite band on earth. Loved their first three albums. The next two were hit or miss for me but still mostly good. I think that's about the time Last Kiss got a ton of airplay, and it was so terrible I actually think it ruined the band for me. Don't think I've listened to anything they've done since, except for that one song that was a moderate hit a few years ago (?)Lehigh98 said:Sorry but :X
Really tough to leave this one out of my 3. Great tune. Not for you
Oh I know, doesn't change how much I hated it. Not saying it's the only factor, bands change, my tastes changed, me in the year 2000 was much different than me in 1997, etc. That song has always just been the very clear dividing line between "the part of my life when Pearl Jam was my favorite band" and "the part of my life when I completely forgot Pearl Jam existed."Last kiss is a cover though
That was 1993 for me. But I used to listen to those first two albums all the time.Oh I know, doesn't change how much I hated it. Potato Wave?I like the one where you can't understand what the hell Eddie is saying.
and it was for a charity album. Think it was meant to be a harmless fun thing that maybe could raise some money for a good cause. It's actually their best selling single of all time.Last kiss is a cover though
Maybe listen to these to find your other two: Animal, Go, Blood, Whipping, Spin the Black Circle, Habit, Brain of J, Lukin, Save You, Comatose, Mind Your Manners.Im not a huge Pearl Jam fan because i like more aggressive music, but imo Do The Evolution is a top shelf jam.
The video is super cool too
Ill check these out, thanks. I don't knowuch about this band. Will report back.Maybe listen to these to find your other two: Animal, Go, Blood, Whipping, Spin the Black Circle, Habit, Brain of J, Lukin, Save You, Comatose, Mind Your Manners.

I prefer the recorded intro to Porch over the live version.Corduroy

edit: should add that I’ll always take a live version over studio
State of Love is a fine song, but I'm surprised it's getting the run that it is.Very tight race up top here

Need a hybrid of the first minute and a half of studio porch then transition to the 6-16 minute live version to finish.I prefer the recorded intro to Porch over the live version.
Assumed it was a great new song. Was shocked when i saw it was from 92 and i never heard it before.State of Love is a fine song, but I'm surprised it's getting the run that it is.
You should probably check out the Singles soundtrack then.Assumed it was a great new song. Was shocked when i saw it was from 92 and i never heard it before.
Porch Unplugged = best version everNeed a hybrid of the first minute and a half of studio porch then transition to the 6-16 minute live version to finish.
Not a Yield fan? I think it may be my favorite actually. Live on Two Legs was always one of my favorite live albums though. Also can I add that Even Flow and most of the “Yield” album would be my least favorite.
