I don't know if this is the right board to be posting this but I was thinking that it would be cool if the breaking news could be sent as a text message for cell phones...not the whole story but something like "Big Trade-Duckett to Wash, Lelie to ATL check site for details" or "SO and so named starter" or "Joe Bob injured pick up..."

Is this something that is doable?

I have the updates going to my cell phone because it has an e-mail address (mynumber@messaging.sprintpcs.com).

Problem is that it can only take like 140 characters so I usually get enough to know that there's news but now what the news is.

A super-short version for this would solve the problem easily.

mine will take a longer email and split it up so a typical email will be 20 messages.
