FF Post season playoff drafts (1 Viewer)

We have a 6 man post season playoff league every year...we have always used an auction draft...this year we are going to try pulling names out of a hat to pick draft order and use a snake draft ...what are peoples experiences using the snake in post season? Which do you prefer ?

We used to do random draw, serpentine. Then, 5 years ago, I switched and allowed all participants to draft any players alive in the playoffs at the beginning of the playoffs. Each team drafted a roster of whoever they wanted (2 qb, 4 rb, 6 wr, 2 k, 4 db, 4 lb, 4 dl, 2 flex idp.

Once a players team is eliminated, he can't be replaced. Some people will draft a lot of wildcard players hoping for more game opportunity...others will draft a team of favorites only to be disappointed by an upset or two.

In theory all 14 teams could have Peyton Manning and Eli Manning at their qb positions if the prevailing thought was an Indy v NYG super bowl.

I am tired of runningt his damn thing, but my leaguemates won't let me - it helps offset the shock of another fantasy season coming to an end and no baseball auctions until March.

Anyone know of a website that offers FF playoff leagues with a draft? Not the pick 7 guys with a salary cap version...

The end of the regular season does not have to mean the end of your fun. Play fantasy football in the playoffs! Let the good times keep rolling.

Run a league for your whole office or school. Invite new players and old. Enjoy the excitement of fantasy football in January right through the Superbowl.

RealTime Fantasy Sports' Playoff Commissioner Service lets you run a fantasy football league based on the teams in the NFL playoffs. Best of all you can run a league for 100 teams for only $0.20 per team for the entire playoffs. Check out the great inclusive options:

Up to 100 teams, $19.95Need a playoff league format? We recommend you let everyone in the league pick any NFL playoff player they want for their team. However, they must choose their entire roster for the playoffs BEFORE the games start. This format combines the best of fantasy football and brackets. To win you must pick quality fantasy players and you must pick the NFL playoff bracket winners. As long a player's team keeps winning the player keeps

very similiar but we also limit the number from each team......no more that 2 including D. this almost assures that all playoff teams(nfl) are represented on all participants teams.some years we have even eliminated a player...like LT a few years ago when he had 31 TDs, everyone would have had him.

we do a very simple 10 teamer. no draft at all. total points based, not head to head. you can start any player you want. i think it's 1QB, 2RB ,2WR, 1 flex(WR/RB), 1TE, 1PK, 1D/ST. players can only be used once! so it is a different kind of strategy. obviously the best scenerio is starting players that have big weeks, who's teams dont move on. its actually very fun.
