FF Writers (1 Viewer)

With so many sites and magazines out there, who do you consider the most knowledgable FF writer out there? If you can't pick just one that you follow more than others than list the main ones you do follow as well. Just curious as to what the FF community thinks? :D

Great question! Being one in the fantasy industry and someone who's worked in the past for FBG and Fantasy Sports Publications, also being a member of the FSTA and FSWA, I see and read lots of articles and meet a lot of the writers in person.

One guy who stands out from an NFL player/team intelligence point of view is Bob Harris. That guys knows everything that's going on with every team every second. He's a brilliant writer and last year he won the 'Writer of the Year" award at the FSTA held in Vegas last September.

As far as informative FF content with a funny, satirical twist, I gotta hand it to Matthew Berry. He's a funny character in print and on TV, one of the most entertaining guys you'll ever meet in the FF industry.

As far as being a machine, and pumping out constant non-stop info on teams and players, that has to go to FBG's very own Jason Wood. I'm amazed at how much he can provide us in such a short period of time, and his quality of work is outstanding.

When you're talking math and numbers and great FF strategy based on statistics, FBG's Doug Drinen has impressed me the most. I'm a math guy myself, and I love reading anything Drinen provides especially when it involves his mathamatical analysis and study.

I'm not sure if you know this, Disposable Hero, but there are fantasy organizations that nominate and award writers each year for baseball and football. You can find more info here:
