on the league pagepayment info for this fiasco?
That's similar to the FPL rules we played under the past two years. FPL deducted 1 point for every 2 goals conceded by a goalkeeper or defender. Fantrax deducts 0.5 points for each goal.Btw, I'm not understanding the 0.5 pts given for a Goal Against. For example, we have Koscielny and he got 0.5 pts for giving up a goal. That's cool and all but is that how it's supposed to be? Is it going to be 0.5 pts for every goal given up? Am I missing something?
I think it might be adding points though. That's similar to the FPL rules we played under the past two years. FPL deducted 1 point for every 2 goals conceded by a goalkeeper or defender. Right. It should probably be -0.5 but it looks like it's +0.5 for giving up a goal. This certainly would have completely changed my draft strategy. I don't know if it'll be in effect for GW#1. If not, we can do manual adjustments.Like my wife. :amirite?:Fantrax live scoring also appears to take a very liberal definition of clean sheets. .
At least you had a decision to make. My team should never have gotten off the bus.Awesome call to bench Welbeck![]()
well my goalie (Stecklenburg from Fulham) is injured and I don't have a backup. Waivers don't begin until after next week. I'm ######.At least you had a decision to make. My team should never have gotten off the bus.Awesome call to bench Welbeck![]()

Kind of a bummer (for you guys) that KDB's assist was to Oscar. Chelsea just has (have? never sure on this) an absurd amount of attacking talent. Wednesday's match against Villa will still count for this week's matchup, yes?Time for the Belgian cavalry. KDB era at Stanford Bridge starts today. Lukaku om the bench, though. Maybe a mistake in the second round. :belgianwaffle:

How do we handle waivers if we're looking at a player who's not in the league yet?Eephus said:I'll change the league settings after the Wednesday game. The Gator said:when can we add/drop players? :can'twait:

I would say it's just easiest to force all teams to wait until a player is in the system. How do we handle waivers if we're looking at a player who's not in the league yet?Eephus said:I'll change the league settings after the Wednesday game. The Gator said:when can we add/drop players? :can'twait:

The Fantrax rules are a lot more flexible than the FPL rules we played under in the past. I'm proposing the following as a strawman.
Active roster size: GK, DEFx4, MIDx4, FWDx3
Bench size: 5 (no position restrictions)
Scoring: As close as possible to the FPL rules we've used in the past except for the bonus points. I will post exact point structure before the draft
Captains: I can't tell if Fantrax even allows double point for captains. But I'm not a fan of it in this format
Draft: 17 round snake with the final round a scheduled free for all.
Eligibility: Anybody in the universe is eligible to be picked in the initial draft. Only players already in the Fantrax database are eligible to be claimed during the season. No clones.
Waivers: All players will be subject to waivers with rotating wire priority. Two weekly waiver runs on Thursday and Friday mornings beginning in Game Week #2. No first come/first served FAs ever.

Sonuva.I manually set waivers priority to the reverse of the draft order.

####. I'll reverse them and try some other options.Looks like Bonzai's claims have already been processed.
I don't understand why we aren't going reverse order of standings already.I got a PM asking how waivers order is going to work. I honestly have no idea.
The intent is to have waivers priority carry over regardless of league standings. That's how most fantasy leagues I've been involved with have worked. For some reason, that's not an obvious setting under commissioner options.
I'll manually reset priority through the end of the August window but I'm not going to babysit this all season. If we can't get it to carry over, we need to decide whether to go in reverse order of standings or else randomize the order every week.
I would agree here although not a big deal. I would also be in favor of reverse order of standings all year long and not rotating. Just my $.02I don't understand why we aren't going reverse order of standings already.I got a PM asking how waivers order is going to work. I honestly have no idea.
