FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (7 Viewers)

BG +7 -120

The underdog in the MAC Championship is 11-3-2 ATS since 1998 (5-0-1 L6).

ARZ +14½ -110

The underdog in the P12 Championship is 3-0 ATS. Also - and this applies to BG and OHST as well - since 2011 the underdog in the championship is 3-3 SU and 6-0 ATS when they won SU in the previous meeting. They were all close games as the three SU losses came by margins of 3,3,6. The total in this game is going to be a hot item, but make a mental note that most of the scoring in the three P12 Championships occurred in the 1Q/1H:

date 1Q 2Q 3Q 4Q20111202 28 24 21 720121130 21 10 10 1020131207 21 21 3 7avg 23 18 11 8+/- 4 7 9 2So in the P12 Championship it might be a good idea to bet the 1Q/1H over and follow that with the 2H under.

LTCH 350

LTCH +11 -110

Since 2008 the underdog in the CUSA Championship is 4-2 SU and ATS. This might be good for a 1Q/1H bet as well because in the four wins the underdog was either leading or tied at the end of the 1Q, and leading or tied in three of those four games at the half. Sagarin made this game LTCH +5, so someone's line is way off as well.

OHST 170

OHST +4½ -110

The underdog in the B10 Championship is 2-1 SU and 3-0 ATS. OHST is 6-2 SU and 8-0 ATS as the conference underdog since 2009 and 6-0 SU in those games lined ≤ 7.5.

You get the first 14 right and then Aaron Rodgers gets hurt and the Packers only win by 1 on a last-minute TD by Roddy White?

Well yeah, you can nitpick this thing to death but it looks pretty solid. I should probably double up. Maybe triple.

Also I've been horrid on ncaab this year, don't know anything really about ncaaf, nba is a total crap shoot, and nfl never makes sense. Other than that though :moneybag:

Chain I think I'm with you on the dogs tonight

Thinking Under in Pac 10 also, although your 1h/2h split is interesting too

Stanford in a few of those games though right? Might skew the numbers a bit since they play a little different style than most of the PAC10

Good catch, that is a really good point. Stanford won both of those games and allowed an average of 10.5,3.5,5.0,0.0 points per quarter. And in Oregon's game in 2011, they were up 49-24 going into the 4Q, and I guess didn't need to score in the 4Q and allowed UCLA to score a meaningless TD. It gets easily skewed with the three-game sample. I am playing the 1Q over in that one.

so I emailed them the gamebook... they emailed me back:

"Your wager was correctly settled as 'No Action' since Terrence Williams didn't play the game."

Is it worth calling them on this? Why are they so stupid?

christ

Does anyone have any experience with had you bet the over it also would have counted as a NO ACTION?

Yes it's worth calling them on it....he's in the starting lineup

Also they sent me a link to the NFL gamecenter that just shows the box score and Williams with 0 catches.

"Hey, why isn't the under a win. Terrance Williams played and had 0 catches, which is less than 2.5."

"It's no action because he didn't have any catches."

Solid logic.

The game book will eventually have snap counts in it. Not sure why they are so bad at this.

just reply back and say he did play the game and just did not receive a target

Who cares? Frosty will have locked in profits by then!

Since last season, the sandwich game between the same division rival is 8-1-1 O/U. The Seahawks and Eagles are both in that situation. Also, the Seahawks are double-stuf sandwiched between Arizona and San Francisco this week. That has happened four times since 1989 - all stuffed between division rivals. Those teams went 0-4 SU and ATS against an average line of 1.6.

Eagles -1 -110

Why do we allow the UFC wagering thread? THIS is the wagering thread.....ghostguy starts an NFL wagering thread and we pounce....yet the UFC wagering thread is thriving.

Feels like it's time to show them who's boss and start some NFL talk in there to mix things up.
