No need to parlay. Just bet Butler +145 or +150 and it's free money on either side. Obvious guy says no way Walker doesn't win the MVP if UConn wins this game unless Lamb drops 50 or so.

Just looking thru the game flow charts for both teams, the games tend to be close no matter what type of game the opponent plays. Game is lined at 3 with a total of 129, this should be a close game. Butler has shown over the last 2 years that they can play with anyone so I don't see Uconn blowing them out and I don't think Butler plays in a way that they'll blow out uconn.

The two things that really stand out to me are...How Walker can score/create his own shot/take over offensively, but also is very comfortable stepping back and focusing on serving assists to his teammates for easy buckets. Butler typically focuses very aggressively on shutting down a certain aspect of their opponents offense, but I think Walker is flexible enough in his skill set to make them pay for whichever aspect of his game they ignore.Secondly, when you expect a close game, take the team that shoots free throws better.Good luck.

I got Butler when the line opened on Saturday +4 so I had no chance to tail you...which I would have. Oh well, I finished up better than 16 units on the tourney so I can't really complain since NCAA BB is not my thing.

I am guessing he was on a board that consisted of winner and loser final scores. They typically start out small and pay out huge for the final game.

I was in a similar situation, but no reverse involved. I had 2 and 1. If Walker would have missed that last free throw I would have added 6k to the March winnings.

It's probably 95% numbers 5% judgment - and the 5% judgment is whether or not I should be tweaking the numbers.

Good stories, enjoying the recaps. My dog/parity theme was money. Since we're gloating I gotta add I played two props besides the UCONN bet. Mack over 2.5 3s. And Lang over 2.5 FTs. The reason I mention is cuz they both hit within like 10 seconds of each other. Mack 2 3's by half, and Lamb hit 2 FTs in the first minute of the 2nd, so I was pretty set. But with less than 2 minutes to go, I was still there, damn it. Then Mack drains one and on the next possession, Kemba's about to get intentionally fouled, when he tosses it to Lamb at the last second. But he still had to make the first because they were in the 1 and 1, which he did. Good times.

In the bracket draft I was one of the big losers, which kinda sucks because my strategy was spot on. I was convinced the dogs were the way to go/pick, which I did. I just picked the wrong ones. That is a great draft, by the way, I'm telling you. WAY better than these overrated, fill out your bracket, take the favorites, boring in the end, never win because some secretary gets lucky drafts. GREAT format which has turned into my favorite March Madness betting thing.

So far, I'm in on Lefty +550, Choi +7000, Singh +8000, and kevin Na +20000. I will make some matchup plays as well tomorrow and perhaps some props i saw that i like. Good luck.

Went with the first parlay of the season today on the following:

Col -110: I think Chacin is highly underrated. The longer layoff somewhat concerns me, but not enough to not play it.

Fla/Was O9: I don't think highly of either starter or either Bully, and think the sticks can do some damage here

Bos -160: I think Beckett rights the ship tonight. The tribe has lost 2 of 3 to start the season and I think that this is a very reaonable price on the Redsox.

NHL playoffs start next week.

Going with the Blackhawks on the road in Montreal tonight. They seem to step up when the game is extremely critical. I know that these last 3 weeks have all been critical, but when they get a couple point cushion, they seem to relax too much. Montreal doesn't seem to play the trap game as well as a Nashville or Tampa Bay. That style of play has given the Hawks fits all season long. They are clinging to a 1 point lead, so it's time for Kane and Toews to wake up.
