FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (6 Viewers)

Will do, JB.

Won't be around tomorrow, so entering a go 7-12 parlay for a unit @ +140. Same deal as before, if spread less than 10 and O/U 144 or less, play the over set. As you can see, all but one are 4PM games since the only time I'll have dedicated to watch CBB tomorrow is 4PM.

That system that you're referencing was designed specifically for bracket buster games, all of which were last Fri/Sat. Careful playing this going forward, it makes sense mostly because teams are going out of conference in the middle of the season.
 
Incredibly large slate of games today, gonna post a lot of picks in bunches...all 1u plays unless otherwise noted. Noon plays:

Westy striking the ball incredible all week. Played him to win @ 3/1. Keying him again with my other picks. Tail lightly, anything can happen in this event. Still seething over keegan. He almost cashed for me last week at 40/1 making that great putt on 18 to make playoff. Nearly won it with a birdie in the extra holes. Faded him to start this tourney and he won. Played him in a 3 unit parlay and he took me down. He been not so kind to my account. Anyway, back to Westy's iron play.....so tight and crisp. If he plays like he has the first 3 days, he wins it all. Keying him with Kuchar,Wilson and Rory.

 
Why are Kuchar/Mahan and Wilson/Hanson teeing off at 12 05 and 12 15 yet Westwood and Rory arent teeing it up until 2 PM...

Is that right?

 
I'm on the Penguins/Lightning Over 5.5.

From what I can tell here, these were the goal totals in Roloson's games this year:

11, 4, 7, 7, 9, 5, 6, 6, 8, 6, 5, 7, 3, 7, 9, 6, 1, 11, 6, 11, 6

Average: 6.7 (just 24% of games were below 6; same # of games were at 9 or higher).

Game also has the top 2 scorers in the league (Malkin, Stamkos) so hopefully we get a shootout. :popcorn:

playing my first hockey SOG play for a long time:

Flyers ov 33.5

kind of a high number, but Lavy ripped into the boys after the game against Edmonton, saying their effort was poor, etc. I could see 15 or so shots in the first, and them have a big second too since the 2nd period was the big letdown when they played Edmonton

 
I like LSU +3.5 @ Ole Miss, 1:45 PM.

Ole Miss just finished a brutal slate of vs. Vandy, @ Kentucky and @ Tennessee, in which they went 0-3, and it was a bad 0-3, where they weren't all that competitive. A month ago, LSU was looking like an SEC bottom dweller, but they've come together, and now have a legit shot at finishing up with a 10-6 Conference record. LSU on a streak of their own, going 4-0 beating the teams they are supposed to beat: vs shorthanded 'bama and shorthanded Miss. St., @ South Carolina and vs Georgia. After today, they go home to face Tennessee, which isn't a big enough game for them to lose focus here.

Folks, was thinking on the train today. For baseball season, could be a fun idea since there's been some chatter in here about the US-based fantasy league daily sites to do some heads up plays against other FFA wagering thread members. We could post in here to see if anyone wants to go heads up and create a matchup as both people agree. I have a strong sense those sites are swamped with syndicates, so we could eliminate that and have some fun. Could do in addition to your daily plays or just on its own.

Just throwing the idea out there, we can revisit once the season starts. Would be fun to track the matchups in here every once in awhile.

 
Self isn't a coach I like to rely on to run up a score, but KU hates Miz and hates them even more for abandoning the conference. I think they beat them by as much as possible this afternoon, in possibly their final matchup. I'll lay the hefty nine points.

Obviously off the mark regarding LSU, however I'm doubling down on Florida -7 @ Georgia. Billy Donovan is going to let the dogs out today, and run the Bulldogs ragged. If Georgia couldn't stay with Vandy, they aren't staying with the Gators...Florida by double digits, and it could get ugly.

Third verse, same as the 1st...

Counting on a solid 2nd half surge from Florida, FTW...they may not cover -7 for the game, but betting -7 2nd half, it's like betting Florida +2 for the game...last week Vandy was off in the 1st half, and Georgia got off to a hot start before running out of gas as Vandy got on their game. Expect more of the same in this 2nd half today...

Rangers are 5-0 at home when they played the night before...Buff lost 11 of 15 when they played the night before.I like the Rangers, just debating if I wanna play the PL or not.

I'm on the under but also like the Rangers here for sure.Also liking the Bruins with Tim Thomas against Auld regardless of the back to back situation.

Liking Miss. St. +6.5 @ Alabama. JayMichael Green returns for the Tide, but I think that's overrated without their leading scorer still suspended. Miss. St. is hungry for a W, and I think they keep this one close.

I have the Rangers as the 3rd leg of a parlay with PIT/Over. As mentioned, they have been great in this spot all year. My only concern is that they haven't played that well in their past few games. I wouldn't feel great about the PL, but this is a game they should win.

Latest update I saw is that he is the "probable" starter, though I don't know how you can trust the Bruins right now.
