FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (4 Viewers)

Thoughts on Cowboys/Seahags later. Dallas after winning on the road against tough division rival, goes on the road again and faces a lesser opponent. They get their homecoming game next week against the middle of the road bucaneers. Seattle, perenially (sp) plays a whole lot better at home than on the road. Screams letdown to me. I have no action thus far and its a 3 p.m.game. It seems I have 4 teams i have really keyed on in teasers and ML and other various parlays so far(with carryovers from college/packers game). GMEN, Pats, Bengals, and Chargers. Upset calls with the Panthers,Ravens, Rams, and Jets.
I've been waiting to see if it gets to 3 1/2. If it does I'll play Seattle. Kind of thought the public would come in heavy on Dallas and move it but books obviously want to keep it on 3 the way it looks.

Are any lightbulbs going off with you guys about this Cardinals defense? The way they look right now I am surprised Seattle was able to hang with them at all.

The fact that Seattle was able to do anything on offense last week has me considering them at home vs Dallas today..

Same theory with the Rams/Skins after watching the Saints meltdown today.

Just punched it for .5u

Well that was an all-timer. An absolute all time kick in the nuts.

Have NE survivor AND NE -3.5 on the 3 team tease.

Jumped around for the fumble. Then jumped through the roof during the td, only for it to be called back. So ok, at least survivor is good. :lmao:

An all timer. Put it in the books.

If the Giants are still having problems in the secondary I wouldn't be surprised if Tampa Bay won SU tomorrow.
Are you ####### serious? Dammit, that's my survivor pool pick and I can't change it now. :wall:
Well that TD there helps.
Especially since I needed the points from Nicks. :excited:
Whew, Wong and survivor pool prevail.

 My buddy is a plumber and a diehard Cowboys fan. He is blowing up my text message right now with various lamentations and swear words. I'm not telling him what side I was on.

The Detroit secondary is banged up. Cornerbacks Bill Bentley, Chris Houston and Safety Louis Delmas are all out.

Inactive for #Lions: Moore, Houston, Delmas, Bentley, T. Lewis, Fox and Hilliard. Broyles active. #DETatSF

Any thoughts on SF/Det tonight? That's a big spread.
I agree. I have SF -1 to finish off 3 teasers to cash 4 units and am thinking about taking Detroit +7. Detroit with the points seems like a lot of points, but SF may well be too physical for the Lions on Defense and be able to run to the edges and away from Det's D tackles in the middle. After seeing today's action I am reminded that it almost is never as it seems in the NFL and you can not over react to one week. Either Detrioit found a way to overcome mistakes and win in week one which is the mark of a good team or Detroit just is not very good and was fortunate to barely win v. STL. I really am not sure which.

It doesn't seem right but I guess I'm sitting out SNF
Maybe play the total? I like the 49ers some but not enough to pull the trigger.
IDK man I think it's all good as it is. Coming off a really good day.. Take a deep breath and enjoy that isht!SNF is going to be entertaining regardless. And Harbaugh v Jim Schwartz is going to be entertaining as hell. And you never know if something wild will set the table for a good play at halftime if you really need it.

Good idea, I'll monitor the situation and check back in at half.

Seconded. Sounds like most of us bounced back nicely this weekend. Let's not ruin it with a dumb play we have no feel on. SF looked really good but if this were week 1, this would only be a 3-3.5 point spread. I get scared by lines like this that are weighted so heavily on the fluky week 1.
