FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (3 Viewers)

Am I crazy for liking DEN +3 and the over??

Manning seemed to get better as the game went on last week and ATL lost Grimes for the year, giving them less depth in the secondary.

ATL couldn't run last week against a KC team that gave up almost 200 yards rushing to BUF this week.

IIRC the Broncos didn't go to no huddle vs Pittsburgh until it became a necessity. And then they had to stick with it. After seeing what each of them did in week one, the strategy may dictate that these two will try to control the clock tonight. But who knows. Gameplans aren't always guaranteed to work like you want them to..

I like ATL -3 a lot tonight. ATL offense is nothing like the pit offense that denver saw last week. I'm sure it won't be a blowout but I like ATL here.
 Good start. I loved ATL a lot going into this week too, and really like how pumped the crowd is. I was hoping to put more on ATL in live betting if they ended up going down early too

I dont think he is in... but they are not going to over turn it.

Yeah, not great watching ATL get stuffed as much as they did, but at least they got in. Denver has a sneaky good defense. If Asaunte Samuel and Dunta can contain the wideouts the Falcons will be alright. They can sit in the same defensive package that SF sat in last night against Detroit if they need to

Gotta hold onto that, Julio!!!!
4 pts down the toilet
You know though, I'll take it. 10 points 6-7 minutes into the game is solid. But, if it becomes a blowout, I feel like the scoring overall would begin to slow. Both sides will help push the total up if the game is somewhat close.
Blowouts are AWFUL for the over...not goodThis PI is a terrible call, but I am not sure about the challenge. I dont think the refs are denying that it was tipped

what a cluster these replacement refs are
I hate to sound like a :tinfoilhat: , but am I the only one that thinks the NFL players union may have told their guys to get a little more aggressive this week to put pressure on these replacement refs. And to double down on my conspiracy theories, am I the only one that thinks the NFLPA and refs union are more than willing to support each other, and are likely to orchestrate a bit of a concentrated effort with the shenanigans this weekend? And nice job of Tirico dropping some knowledge on the situation, nice to know you still can get that at times from commentators

I am not sure about the conspiracy, but it makes sense.I have to think they are paying radio stations to discuss the poor refereeing and advertising the mistakes. They are just terrible. Its normal everyday parts of the game they are just screwing up

Nothing you can do in this situation. An SEC or Big 10 ref is not going to blow his dream of "going pro" so no way they cross the line. As a result all you got left are guys in thier 50's that are stuck in the WAC or Sunbelt and there is no way these guys will turn down 15 min of fame.

It's actually worse than that. I have a friend at work whose dad is a long time WAC ref. He was called by his NFL ref friends and asked them to be a replacement. Presumably he's a good ref, and the NFL guys didn't want him to go as it would hurt their position. He obliged. Truely, it's the worst of the worst out there. Each replacement ref gets $3000, which equates to about $50k/year if they do all 16 games. Not chump change...but this is a multi billion $ industry.

I keep betting the over live, both teams going no huddle and denver is easily moving the ball. Just no scoring, hope it picks up.

49.5 was posted live and it got pounded down to 48.5 -140!Happy i got out when I did
I still think it'll go over. This game is taking forcer but there's still 6 mins left in the 1st half
I don't know, it has been a long time since Denver had a nice drive. Their offense is stagnant. of course with Peyton back there it won't take much, and the over for the 2nd half may be the play, but it will be close

what i love most about peyton manning is his attention to detail. It blows my mind how inept so many QBs (and other offensive players) are when it comes to clock mgt. As soon as he got sacked, he was calling a TO

They aren't making it any fun with that hook hanging there.
:goodposting: I went with Indy over 14 in the 2nd half. Looking if there is anything else, but i like that to be at least be a push. Actually, probably will push so not a real fun bet, but i like it regardless
