FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (8 Viewers)

I'm in on LSU -20½ -110 tomorrow. Also on Arky -½ and Oregon -17½ teased down from earlier. Probably going to look at the under on the Auburn TT if I get real cocky about that game..

Adding this for RN

Oregon/AZ over 77
LOL - the last thing I did before I went to bed last night was put a bet down on this. This might be over 60 in the first half.
Up to 79. BTW, are we convinced that Arizona will put up their fair share?
It's not the 4 diamond play of the week or anything, but I like it. Zona can put up ponts by the bunch no problem. The Ducks gave up 30ish to Fresno and Ark St. The Ducks lighting up 50 on the board isn't something I'm worried about.

Lets put it another way. if the total was 85 would you bet the under?

No, no. I just can't shake the feeling of some costly Wildcat turnovers as they try to keep pace.55-21 isn't unreasonable, and that falls short.

RichRod at UM to drop a ton of points on UMASS, Indiana, Purdue, Illinois....as soon at they played OSU, MSU, Wiscy they would turle and score 0-10.

I have no doubt Oregon will drop 55...I am concerned the exact way RN is...will Arizona be able to keep pace.

nygchidalmiacledennethose are my teaser legs
Bumped for Culdeus
One note on teasers. Because of my lack of 3 teamer +180 outs I've changed my strategy a little. I'm playing all 2 teamers at -110 and then taking every leg and putting them in one teaser. This saves me a bunch of time and should lower my variance a bit but still give me the reward of a sweep. Example I put all those legs in one teaser and bet $500 to win 5k so if a sweep happens i'm still seeing the reward. If anyone wants to try this I'd recommend checking the payouts at 5dimes(they're accurate) and making sure whatever out you use matches those payouts. FYI RB limits to 6 teams, I take my 6 best legs and play a teaser there too.

No one has come out yet with any real strong analysis on a play. You guys are going to force me to tail Lee Corso. I've got a batch of Smails chili on the stove and a new bottle of Basil Hayden and I need action!

Question for... anyone. I know Ref and Tiger are up on this stuff.I'm done renting. Tired of throwing over a grand a month down the toilet. Wondering if I should be looking at a single-family home or a condo? Assume everything is fairly equal. Purchase price, living space, both in decent neighborhoods, etc. I'm single and I'm going to stay that way, so a small place is perfect for me. Also, I'm handy, so I don't mind doing my own repairs, yard work and all of that stuff. I also have a gym nearby. So I can't think of one good reason to pay monthly condo fees. Am I on the right track here?
#### condos. Not private enough - for me anyway.I'm renting a house next - not buying because I move too much, but I just can't stand having neighbors all up in my #### non stop.
You are gonna miss cheesesteaks. :P
I miss Willow Tree chicken salad and Olneyvilles weiners more. :(

Only early game I even want to watch is TCU -19 v Va.

I'll lay the wood. TCU is in a big boy conference now and they need to destroy the prelim matchups.

My sons have a 9am soccer game. Never been so happy to miss college football action in all my life. What a crap slate of games they have for us this morning.

Gets better as the day gets long. I'm on Kansas St +17 and will look to add others. I'm not touching Oregon/Arizona. I would have leaned AU +23.5 earlier in the week, but I don't feel like betting against my team this early in the season.

Oregon St/UCLA is one I want to watch for sure. I have no idea how to cap that one. Beavers have played only one game and scored only 10 points vs Wisconsin, who doesn't look very good to me. UCLA meanwhile has been a force this year, but have they been tested? Will the Beavers defense be able to slow them down? They put a grinding halt to Monte Ball's Heisman hopes...will they do the same to Franklin today? Total is 52. Going to have to mull this one over.

Wash St. should throttle Colorado. Line is 20. Fresno State was favored by more IIRC. They beat CU by 50 or so. Going to lean Cougars here as their new QB has been pretty good.

Willow Tree is local only?? Didn't know that. Now I feel bad for everyone else in the country.

^^^^

Ya.

Last year my thanksgiving was a willow tree chicken salad sandwich with cranberry sauce on it.

That stuff must have crack in it. So so so good. :banned:

I bought a condo after school but now live in a SFH. If everything is equal, there is no question I would buy a SFH. When I lived in a condo, it always felt like an apartment - I could hear my neighbors dryer etc through the wall. I also live in CA and by the time I sold it, it seemed like half were for sale and being rented to 3-4 people each. If money is an issue, I would talk to your accountant about what expenses you can write off. I can write off my mortgage interest and property taxes which turns out to be a lot. I don't believe you will pay property taxes on a condo, but again, your accountant would know that specifically for your state.I pay for insurance and HOA on my SFH. I only had HOA (insurance was included) on my condo. That is an extra expense. Obviously, you are responsible for all repairs on a SFH. There is a typically a budget for repairs on condos (like roof repairs) but anything that exceeds that will result in an one time assessment everyone in the condo development will be responsible for.I don't think where you live/now will be drastically affected by a housing crash, but condos typically lose value quicker than SFH, all else equal.Parking was also a huge pain in my condo, but that will be dependent on number of units/development layout/parking spaces. If you are handy and enjoy yard work, I think you will have more of a sense of pride in owning a SFH. I enjoy having a back yard to myself instead of shared common areas.HTH

Thanks tj. That does help.

I have already owned a home, for the record. So I realize everything that goes into it. But I've been renting for the past five years. The only thing I've never owned is a condo. That's why I wanted opinions on that. I'm 95% leaning SFH again. Mainly because I value my privacy.

Then it is a very easy decision to buy a SFH. My set up was one building, five condo units facing another building of five units. One sidewalk was used for all 10 doors. Any time I would have the window open, you could hear everything outside especially people coming home late. We had a patio door to a mini yard facing that sidewalk and I never left the curtains open because everybody would look inside walking past. A SFH will at least give you an option to be private when you want or open windows/curtains/etc when you don't without creepers. Also, sun light. My condo was really dark because I had a middle unit. I didn't realize how much I enjoyed bright rooms until I got into my SFH.

Agree with this. If RN doesn't mind doing the repairs and the associated pains of owning a SFH then the benefits are there with the low interest rates and tax benefits. Location is key at this point in time, city dwellers need to find up and coming areas to buy townhouses or rows while suburban hunters need to consider HOA rules and traffic patterns if you live in a large metro (RN in Providence area???). For me buying was the right decision although I've had to put in a brand new HVAC system and had to make some immediate upgrades (countertops, floors, water systems, landscaping especially trees) which cost a pretty penny. I specifically avoided an HOA with too many restrictions (for me this is huge) and specifically avoided any areas where income patterns (section 8 availability) were a question. I also figured out what my mortgage would be compared to what my probable rent would be for the same type of property. The mortgage is about 20% cheaper so if I decided to move away from the area (possible), I can get a renter who will offset costs and give me some pad for future repairs.

Can any of you confirm that college player props were cut on to $100 on sportsbook?
Log out, go back to sportsbook, place a wager for $500000000000 dollars on any player prop, system will then tell you what their standard limit is on the prop. This works for any type of wager at sportsbook....looks like $500 to me, you got cut
