The course will be considerably tougher today.Only 2 matchups that I would look at are:Harrington over ElsCrane over McDowell
not looking so hot today out there. just saw some of the scores, i'm losing all my picks. Crane being +3 is a real pain in the ###, same with Walker being +3 after his good shots yesterday. i also grabbed Rose +145 over Rory, which isn't looking so hot right now.
Yea I was all over Crane, yesterday too. Let's just all agree we have no idea about golf, and almost everything is a ####### toss up.My confidence combined with Tat's confidence, cost me a ####load of money.
Golf is hilarious. I had Furyk -110 vs McDowell for the tourney. He was 5 up after the 1st round and missed the cut 5 down after the 2nd. I had Schwartzel over Els 1st round which lost and he is now 3 up with the 3rd almost finished. Also had Mcdowell over Allenby 1st which lost but he is now 5 up. Had Yang over Furyk 1st which lost and then Furyk missed the cut. Tailed you guys on Crane in the 2nd. Overall doing ok with tourney matches. Probably about even or -juice when it is over. I never really bet golf until the match play last week.

In Greece for work and headed to a BBall game. Naturally, a play is in order. Taking Paok Thessaloniki +26 -110 @ Panathinaikos for 2U.
This is awesomeness.
Lost by 20, solid cover  Really let the game get away from them in the last 5 minutes though. By the way, Greek ball is UGLY. There were, just, so many things about the experience. The cover was nice though. No matter how good/bad, I will almost always take 26 on a dog in basketball, made my day.

S&G $25'ers:

6PM Colonial Conference Tourney #2 VCU (-12) vs #7 Northeastern

6PM Southern Conference Tourney #1 Davidson (-11) vs #5 Furman

6PM America East Conference Tourney #2 Vermont (-9) vs #7 Maine

***********************************************

1u: 6PM Horizon League Tourney #2 Cleveland State vs #3 Detroit (+1)

Ray McCallum and the high-flying Detroit Titans vs a highly touted Cleveland State squad who's gone 2-5 over their last 7, and best player D'Aundray Brown has missed a bunch of time with a bad groin pull. Detroit easily handled Youngstown State, who was a dark horse to win this thing. I'd imagine Detroit would be a favorite here if this Tournament wasn't so brutal on anyone who's not a Top 2 Seed - Cleveland State hasn't played since 2/25, while Detroit played Tourney games on 2/28 and last night. The Titans have the League's #1 Offense. I don't think they get past Butler or Valpo, but they'll put Cleveland State in an early hole here that they can't dig out of to at least make it to the Championship Game to find out.

Good Luck!

Wow, I'm really pushing this Creighton play now. In the other MVC Conference Semi, ranked #1 Seed Wichita State just lost 64-65 to Illinois State. Creighton has to not only feel TREMENDOUS about winning the Conference, which will bump them up in the rankings, and improve their Seeding, they should also be VERY on point for this one, with that huge upset in their minds. LOVE the Blue Jays here...

I really like Landeskog (Colorado) over 3 SOG +100 vs Pittsburgh at SB. He loves to shoot. He has been under 3 only once in the last month. He just had a 6 game point streak end the last game. I don't expect Colorado to spend a lot of time in Pittsburgh's zone but they will probably be behind so will get shots off when they can. I think there's an good chance of a win, an excellent chance of a push, and a low chance of a loss.

Letang being out should help too. That's why I'm scared to bet on the Penguins here. Colorado can't give any more games away and they got embarassed against Columbus.

looking pretty good here. any thoughts on hedging at the half at all, or ride it out as is?

I'm just riding it out, although I don't think Creighton let's up at all in the 2nd half.

Really bummed that I blew it on both Vanderbilt and Alabama. The SEC has really been tough to figure this year.

More S&G $25'ers:

Harvard -8

Belmont -18, #1 Seed vs #6 Florida-Gulf Coast in the Atlantic Sun Championship Game

Oral Roberts -11

Loyola, MD -8

George Mason Pick 'em

Boston U. -5

Here is a hockey parlay I am shooting for.

Leafs/Habs o5.5

Lightning +145

Nucks PL

Also, on the Preds and Pens.

sick ending on that Ducks game. Was it Cammalleri that stopped the empty net goal on the goal line?

I had Ducks -.5 in regulation so was psyched when Getzlaf buried his shot towards the end. Shouldn't have even been close based on the way the game went and how badly Anaheim needed to win that game.

S&G $25 adds:#1 Bucknell -12.5 vs #5 Lafayette, Patriot Conference Tourney#1 Iona -15.5 vs # 8 Marist, MAAC TourneyTournament mavens already know the Bucknell program, but everyone who hasn't seen Iona play yet, ought to find a way. Scott Machado, Michael Glover and Momo Jones are as dangerous a 'Big 3' in the Nation as it gets. They can absolutely get to the Sweet 16, and maybe further.
Good calls! :banned:

I'm going with Butler (-2) again tonight, in the Horizon League Semi's, for 1u.

I outlined my thoughts on Butler in an earlier post where I bet them and they covered vs Wisconsin-Miwaukee.

Tonight they play Valpo and it's a brutal situation. This is another Conference Tourney that's brutal on everyone but the top 2 seeds. Valpo has rested since 2/24 when they beat vs Butler, while Butler had to play on 2/28, and again last night. Plus the game is @ Valpo. This is the 3rd time they've played this Season, and Valpo won the 1st meeting as well @ Butler in OT. It's just impossible for me to bet against Butler, especially with a line that's only asking them to win the game. They are red-hot, and the only way to get to the Big Dance is to win out. I love the Coach Brad Stevens / G Ronald Nored combo, plus one of the Crusaders' big guns, Kevin Van Wijk, is playing on a bum knee.

This is all gut, so tail at your own peril.

Good Luck!

S&G $25's:

Brown +16 @ Princeton - I heard there was some kind of angle involving double-digit late-season Ivy League road dogs.

Kansas -12 vs Texas - I don't care who they're playing, Jayhawks Senior Night has good beatdown potential.

St. Mary's, Cal -8 vs the SF Dons in the WCC Tourney Semi's. Gaels could get bumped in the Championship by either Gonzaga or BYU, but they should smoke the Dons here.

Blues or Sharks?? Leaning Blues...will they sweep?
so any consensus thoughts on this one? i was leaning Sharks, thinking they will bounce back, but i think it is hard to trust that team. Maybe the Flyers were that bad that night?

I'm waiting to see what happens with the Yotes but if I play this one it will be the total. I have faded the Sharks the last month with great success but at home they might just pull this one out.
