FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (5 Viewers)

Over 5.5 (-115) in Tampa/Edmonton looks great to me.Roloson in net for Tampa. When he starts, he allows 4 goals per game on average. He's allowed 3 goals or more in ALL of his last 15 starts.Khabibulin in net for Edmonton. Started out great but has a 3.39 GAA since the All Star break. Has allowed 3 goals or more in 14 of his last 21 starts. Also allowed 3 goals or more in 8 of his last 10 road starts.Tampa ranks 10th in goals scored and Edmonton ranks 15th so there's enough offensive talent to take advantage of these old goalies who are both well past their primes.
I like it.

Me as well. Also, Aaron at what time of season do you usually start the thread for the playoff pool?? I want to make sure I don't miss it this season.

I like Michigan State -5 mostly because I simply don't like Louisville who has to depend on hitting a bunch of outside shots vs a great rebounding/defensive team.

I really want Marquette to win because I hate everything Florida but think Florida finds a way. Not sure about the other late game, thinking Cincy covers.

PARLAY WITH TAMPA -1.5 PL for big $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

http://www.covers.com/pageloader/pageLoader.aspx?page=/data/nhl/matchups/g2_summary_10.htmlVancouver has given up 37, 34, 36, 33, 35, and 32 shots in their last 6 games. They are playing on the road in their 2nd of back to back after playing an emotional game against perhaps their biggest rival in Chicago last night and I assume they will be without Daniel Sedin.Dallas should be all over them.
so what do you think here? i see the line is 29.5, so i would think Dallas over is a good call, but they only had at least 30 shots was 4 out of 9 games

I like it, but decided it was safer to just play the Dallas ML instead. If Dallas puts a couple in early, they might have trouble hitting 30 shots.Vancouver has always let me down when I bet on them and I think Dallas has always come through for me. Hoping that continues tonight. My main concern is the Canucks PP and Cory Schneider standing on his head, but Couver just hasn't been themselves of late and losing Daniel Sedin should be pretty big.My card for tonight:Parlay (1U to win 2): Marquette -2 & Penguins ML (-175)Parlay (1U to win 2): Stars ML (-130) & Kings ML (-145) (odds have both moved towards the home teams)Oilers/Lightning O5.5 (-115)

I'm all in on Marquette tonight.

I think MSU/Louisville and Ohio St./Cinci are completely unpredictable games.

I can't just sit around waiting for Marquette, though, so I'm putting in a small play on the Badgers ML, and backing it up with some Badgers +3.

If those hit, I'm rolling it over, adding on to Marquette.

Good Luck!

I have Wisconsin +4 and IU +9

Is there a site that shows what the odds are in the previous games this year and years prior for the NCAA?

I'm also thinking of going Stanford -2 and Minnesota +1

Not sure if it is what you are looking for, but vegas insider dot com will show you the opening las vegas lines and a rundown of the line movements, listed by date and time, for both vegas and offshore. There are probably more sites that do this. It does not, as far as I can tell, give % numbers of the betting trends. But after the conversation in here a couple days ago I am currently  about those. Something about "other peoples' numbers" just doesn't sit well with me :kicksrock:

Add Marquette against my better judgment and Cincy.

any SOG props people like tonight?I haven't even looked at the totals yet but Preds under and Dallas might be promising.
it burned me pretty good yesterday, but i think i like STL under tonight. haven't had a chance to look too much yet though
Sorry to just post this... I closed on my new house this afternoon.Stl under was the play of the night, but I didn't get it in and someone (gooroo.....) pounded the hell out of it.

 Congrats on the crib! Get to work on the man cave. 8-10 flat screens should do the trick.

I have just had one recurring thought regarding the Baylor/Xavier game. That bald white dude that plays the 5 for Xav, I think he is going to get totally used tomorrow night by Baylor. Acy's points are already 50% dunks. I wouldn't be surprised if that % went way up during tomorrow's game.

It's just a thought. I am hesitant to lay 6 points, because that seems like a lot, but I just see Baylor getting strong in the paint tomorrow. And I know that sounds weird to say that about Baylor.

Thanks man. Its a short sale so it needs about 750 units worth of work, but we are psyched. And yes.... someone already pre wired the house and outside pool area for sound... so I do need a few more flat panels. They did leave a 1995 Sony Trinatron behind.... maybe i'll bring that outside untill it pours out and frys it.

This is one of the coolest NFL clips I've ever seen. Lumpy and Rud especially should enjoy it.

Most of you weren't even born yet. I was just a wee lad.

The uniforms... the wind... the rain... the music... Broadway Joe, etc. Perfect. :banned:

Well the first period of the Blues/Kings went just like I thought it would........Sweet Jesus.

STL, 3 shots on goal in 9 seconds  i thought there was life with this second period
Well if I was able to get my bet in I would easily surrender the juice on my bet right now for a refund. But that being said the Kings looked alot more like the Kings in the 2d. If they can wrap pat at 21 here you have an outside shot. That first period was a disaster.

Don't forget the inevitable OT. Nobody can score.

Someone will put one in soon. :scared:
