I don't see a letdown for the 9ers here and i believe they are the better team defensively and all around. 1st quarter -.5, 1st half -4. ML and over parlay. ML, over, FalconsML parlay. With the beat up secondary you guys mentioned, I'll also take Alex Smith over 1.5 t.ds.

I also think we can throw the NE-Tenn game from week 1 in this mix too. I did not see NE struggle like they did today, and i really thought Tenn would make a game of it.

United picked up a little ground and is sitting at around +175 in Europe. They went with a "B" lineup this week and won pretty handily, whereas City drew with Stoke.PSG is around -300. They trail Marseilles by 6 points and currently sit fourth in the table, but have registered back-to-back wins against Lille and a tough Toulouse team after drawing their first three Ligue 1 matches, quelling Parisian boo-birds, whose expectations for this team are impossibly high.
Juventus is up to -160 or so, and are at the top with a perfect 9 points so far. AC Milan's already showing the ill effects of having to sell off players to right their ship financially, looking dead in the water after losing at home to Atalanta, which leaves only Inter and Napoli to really give them trouble. I don't see it.
Best news of all, Barcelona has already put 8 points between them and Real Madrid, after RM lost away to Sevilla, who made an early goal stand up for 90. They're all the way up to -333, and you can get a bit of value on them at Sportsbook, who have them at -250. Worse for Madrid, they have a very difficult Champions League draw, which means possibly a couple more games where they won't be able to get away with deploying some reserves. Their schedule gets a bit easier the next couple weeks, but a Clasico looms on October 7 at the Camp Nou.
You could also do worse than Lionel Messi Top Goalscorer -162 right now. He already leads the pack with 6 goals (several are tied at 3), and Ronaldo only has 2. He might win it anyway, but if Ronaldo reiterates his transfer demands in December and gets his wish, this is a done deal barring a massive injury.

For those of you with Sportsbook accounts the first score prop has some interestig value. They will double the wager up to $50 if the first score is in he first 5 min of the game. So for a combined $23.16 you can take both the ATL and DEN passing TD to win $50. Thats probably about right, maybe a few bucks over priced. But if there is going to be a first 5 min score it's most likely going to be a passing TD. Anyway for $23 it's a nice little gamble.

Never root for injury and that sucks that both of them will be out. But, can't imagine the people in the RGIII thread are sad to hear this. That includes me.Just cashed in some fantasy baseball season winnings, so going parlay with the Falcons -3.5 +115 and O51. 1U to win 3.1. The hook is a 25 point swing (-110 to +115) here, love the value there and thinking I'll take the plunge on the Falcons doing this by 4 at home in the dome. Everyone talks about Peyton getting ready to shine in prime time. I do think that will happen to an extent, but everyone gets caught up in that hysteria and forgets how good Matty Ice looked last week in this offense. He's at home in the dome, and I think he is out to prove that this is the season he gets the playoff monkey off his back, and it starts here on MNF. I'll take that bet.'ChainsawU said:

Interesting. I seen it at 51.5 a couple hours ago and it continues to go down. Begging us to take the overs now. Filled in my SF teaser with Den +9 anyway, decided to stay away from the total because of the move.

The only sport I've found this profitable on is baseball totals. When they move they usually don't move back. In all other sports that I've followed it's hard to tell what the real moves are and what the setups are.Any book that you actively chase steam at will cut your limits pretty quick. Pretty easy to spread it around and avoid detection if you have several outs.'Good said:
