I too enjoyed elite tailing on this play. I even ventured out into the wild blue beyond on my own to add a few heavy favorites and +1.5s in a large parlay that hit. I am feeling my skills of the professional level tail are sharp to the touch and quick of the pounce....ready for this weekend when we make it rain bankruptcy slips on the books during the introductory fox sports 1 broadcast of moD slaying the ufc card. I'm getting that special tingle and I don't think it's due solely to the attractive stylist that's about to trim my mane.

Phillies/Dodgers SDQL:

  • Since July the Dodgers are 7-0 in game 1 away averaging 7 runs on 12 hits.
  • Since July the Dodgers are 3-0 (2-0 away) after a day off. Before that they were 0-6.
  • Since July Dodgers are 4-1 away versus LHP, averaging 4.8 runs, winning their last 4. Before that they were 0-8.

In his last three starts, Alex Wood (1.89 ERA in that span) limited opponents to a .136 batting average and slugging percentage in at-bats that ended in a changeup or curveball (34 percent of pitches). edit: Dodgers went 4-0 in Philly last year, and while the Phillies have been good after a day off the last two years, they didn't need to add any more fuel to the Dodger fire, and now the Dodgers smell blood in the water. Add the lack of success in Lee's starts lately and I'm going Dodgers for a grip of cash.

I'm still shocked at how Vegas hasn't really adjusted for the Dodgers. They seem almost like an auto play for anything under 150.

Anyone else think the Yankees can win the East? They have a lot of fire power with that lineup now and will only be 7.5 back.

Ugh, that is absolutely the worst. Well, i guess if i think about it, it can be excused since you guys are there for a week. As long as they can make the proper adjustments and sleep well tonight, and hang out like rock stars for the next 6 days or so i could approve.

But hell of a job winning some money back bud. If you have any interest, I think there may be some plays I will make on the UFC card for the weekend. I have been getting whooped lately, but i can dig a little deeper. Most importantly though, if you guys are fringe MMA fans, you really should check this card out. It is loaded with just "fun" fights. Will be great to have on in the bkgd of some other shennanigans going on. I am pretty sure i can hit better then .500 on the card, and it is 6 hours straight on the new Fox Sports channel.

Geez, i sound like a walking plug there for the show, but it just is set up as a real fun one. So if you want to bet on it, i can put some extra time into these fights since most of the guys are familiar and hopefully make up for some of the other cards i have had.

It's hard to say with a lot of these fights, a lot of the guys fighting tomorrow are the kind that are involved in 3 round wars all the time. The Overeem-Browne, and McGreggor fights seem like they should go under, and i put a little on Overeem-Browne un1.5 -140. Don't like it a whole lot with the juice attached like it is to it. i could see both come out real cautiously since they are both coming off losses and know that the other guy can hit like a freight train.

Volquez's team is 0-6 SU versus the Mets in his career. This year Volquez is 3-7 with a 5.27 ERA, 1.54 WHIP and .349 opponent OBP at PetCo Park. Mets did alright without Buck in the lineup last night. And Mejia has looked good. I had been fading him and his so-called bone spur, but he beat me when I backed Bettis against him in New York and he just threw six good innings at the Dodgers. Mejia looks good.

Faber does awesome in non-title fights. Alcantara is being under-rated because he is an unknown name, but Faber should win it.

 
Screw it. Playing some more NFLx. 7-1 start (+6.3), just missing on the Ravens Thursday by a half point. Yeah, I know it is fleeting.
