FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (5 Viewers)

What is Andy Dalton doing he looks horrible
yeah i went to buy out of some of my money on CIncy. went to live bet Cle +3.5 and ML, go to hit submit and it swung to +2.5 and went from +145 to +120. So a lot of others must also be looking to go with CLE

1.5u on K.Dansby O7.5 (-105) tackles tonight.

I see it lined this way at 5d and sportsbetting. I think he's got a good shot for 10+ tackles in this one. Bengals crew gives out lots of assists and I assume he'll be seeing a lot of Jeremy Hill.
My only defensive play today
Anything stand out on offense?
Nothing strong.
thx

Winner at the half

Dalton is a mess... I've never seen a QB with so many bad throws... He's not even close. Reminds me of when a pitcher loses it and then you find out he needs Tommy John surgery.

they honestly need the mercy rule here. i can say i am happy to have Sanchize at QB over this Dalton

You can't blame Andy Dalton for tonight. You have to blame the organizational culture in which he operates - the organizational culture of the Bengals. There is a rule in business and in life, that you do not try to reign-in your thoroughbreds. To put it simply, you can equate Andy's drive and tenacity to that of a poor man's Colt McCoy - like many have done before. The fact remains that the Bengals' culture simply won't let a man, a beast with Andy's competitive "kill or be killed" mentality run free like a stallion accross the fertile plains of the competitive grasslands of the NFL and succeed.

I love how West is looking good with most of his carries, and you get to a 3rd and 2, and you put in Tate to get you 1.5. How the hell is Cleveland winning this game?

Trailblazers 3rd Quarter Over 26 -110

Mavericks have allowed an average of 22.8 points in the 1Q and 2Q this season. They've allowed an average of 33.8 in the 3Q.

Going over box score Dansby didnt get another tackle in the 2nd half. Hell the whole team propably only had 10 opportunities for tackles with ####### Hue jackson calling plays. Nice hit Rud

yeah, game didn't go as expected so thankfully Hill and Dansby got things out of the way early.

Only 37 tackle opportunities for the Browns D in the game. 20 in the first half, 17 in the second. 15 runs in the first half, just 7 in the second half and I think Dansby was off the field for the last 2.

PFF gave Dansby 6 tackles (4 solos, 2 asst) so we were bailed out a bit by the stat crew.

This season, road teams lined less than 3 either direction in conference play are 25-14 SU (.641) and 26-13 ATS (.667). Those same teams are 9-3 SU and ATS in Mountain West conference play since 2011. You have two other teams that fit that criteria this week with Iowa and Michigan - so it's a simple vote of confidence if you choose to play them - despite B10 teams only being 3-4 SU and ATS in that spot the last two seasons. Action junkie MWC last game of the night preemptive chase play system.

San Jose State 110

Hockey guys, if someone with little hockey knowledge were betting a game, what would they blindly bet most likely? An over?

Like most sports, probably overs instead of unders and favorites over dogs, right?

I would think favorites, but mostly due to the fact it's hard to properly weight win probability.

I guess with OT and empty net goals a possibility, overs are usually more tempting as well. maybe they'd play more puck lines as well.

There's really nothing I would recommend to blindly bet. A lot factors in, is the backup in? What goalie has been hot or cold, teams traveling on a back to back etc.I use this page daily to find out the starting goalies and they give little tidbits of info on what the goalie and team has been doing lately. http://www2.dailyfaceoff.com/starting-goalies/

Some teams like Florida don't score much while Pittsburgh and Tampa do. This page will help with totals as well.

http://espn.go.com/nhl/statistics/team/_/stat/scoring/sort/avgGoals

And of course crazy #### happens too. Had under 5.5 in Blues/Devils game last night. Was going swimmingly until they decided to score 4 goals in the last 3:20 of the game.

Now hearing just how dumb Jameis might be, I'd take a shot on the first half with Virginia.
Care to expand your rationale on the assessment of his intelligence?
Assuming he's talking about the reports out now about Jameis shaving points in the louisville game for his buddy to win a $5000 1H bet

*Update* Western Union paperwork with Jameis Winston's name accepting cash before Thursday's game vs Louisville "Allegedly" being shopped around to major media outlets.
If that ends up coming out, going to be hard to not get legs in the court of public opinion. Wait and see, I guess. Could be 100% BS, who knows - it is the internet.

Thanks. When the market moves a lot, is it primarily a goalie change? It doesn't seem like a position player injury would have a huge affect on a line moving especially a total since the totals have such a small window of possibilities.

I'm trying to gauge what it takes to move a NHL line. NHL runs against the NBA and NFL, by far more popular sports with the regular guy. When a team, particularly a road underdog, win probability moves 3 or 4% without a goalie change, I'm trying to understand why the market is moving that much.

light UFC plays tonight. Just so many friggin' cards it is hard to keep up with and break them down. But i have been positive with the few last couple of cards, so maybe this can keep it going:

Bisping +300

Clements +125

I also like Palelei -170 and Pearson -155, but don't love 'em.

I also love that RB has 2nd half win totals. Anybody see any they like? i played a few. Saints ov, Philly ov, KC ov, forget the rest. 1 or 2 good unders too, but i forget who
