Starting a 12 Team Salary Cap League with Annual auctions. http://www34.myfantasyleague.com/2016/home/65351
Here is a summary:
* 1 QB league - 6 pt touchdowns and yardage bonuses for QB's to make the position more valuable
* 27 player rosters, expanding to 30 in the offseason.
* PPR league weighted by position - 0.5 points for running backs, 1.5 points for tight ends, 1 point for WRs
* Starting Lineup - 1 QB, 1-4 RB, 3-6 WR, 1-3 TE, 1 K, 1 Def; ability to specify up to 2 backup players
* Bonuses - In addition to QB bonuses mentioned above, bonuses for combined rushing and receiving yards, and a 5 pt defensive bonus for 0 offensive points allowed.
* Salary Cap - Hard cap where player value is determined by auction/waiver-wire purchase price. Max 4-year contract. No contract-year cap. 1 Franchise Tag per team per year.
* Annual auctions - Inaugural auction for all but rookies; rookie draft slots will also be bid on in inaugural auction. Free agent auction in non-inaugural years.
* 3-round annual Rookie draft (long-running, email). Slotting for rookie salary cap value.
* League Fees $75 per year, must pre-pay a year in advance (so $150 the first year). League-safe with majority vote option. Payment is due 2 weeks after league fills, and inaugural auction will be scheduled for shortly after everyone pays.
* Payout structure is defined in percentages in the bylaws, but this is an example. Assuming a $900 (12 * $75) fee fund and an MFL fee of $70, the payout would look like this (note that these dollar amounts are for illustration purposes only. Payout is determined according to percentages.) :
- League Champion - 42.4% of $830 = $351.92
- Runner Up - 18% of $830 = $149.40
- 3rd Place - 9.5% of $830 = $78.85
- 4th Place - 6% of $830 = $49.80
- 5th Place - 3.5% of $830 = $29.05
- 6th Place - 2.5% of $830 = $20.75
- Toilet Bowl Champion - 2.5% of $830 = $20.75
- Weekly Prize - Most points scored for the week. 1.2% of $830 = $9.96 per week * 13 weeks = $129.48
