Weed someone brave enough to be our 14th franchise. $60 (plus $60 year-1 deposit).It's a 14-team IDP, contract, 0.5 PPR dynasty league. The contract system is a little different, with no defined contract length. Scoring is such that EVERY position has value, not just WR, RB, and LB. Ever wondered what it would be like if fantasy teams relied on a good starting QB as much as real teams do? Ever entered a rookie draft wishing that a world could exist in which a DE or DT could be justified in the 1st round? Why do DE get 2.5 pts for passes defensed, but DT and LB only get 2?

Wow, what a micro-question. I'll bite!

By nature, DEs are pass rushers. Therefore, pass rushing is their thing and that's what they get judged on. They are also tacklers, but those opportunities aren't as frequent. DTs are tasked with not only pass rushing, but plugging the hole against the run. Therefore, they got more points got QB sack yardage and tackles, but less for passes defensed. 

I hope that explains my logic in the matter.

however, there are big differences with DE responsibilities and their 'natures' in a 3-4 defense vs a 4-3, whereby pass rushing is 'not their thing'...but we could argue that another time, I suppose.  I get your logic, but it sounds more based on popular opinion than fact.

Oh, and being commissioner, it's my opinion that created the scoring system. So there's that too.
