This is a pretty casual league. Most players, this is their only dynasty league and some, this is their only league period. More guppies than sharks. I found a replacement on here (or was it reddit?) and he came in and took a bad team and won the league 3 years in a row so turn arounds can definitely be done and it's easy to get a lot of value in the drafts and trades.
$100 league but just $50 the first year for someone adopting an orphan team. We do ask you put $50 towards the following year though so it'd be $100 total: $50 this year and $50 towards next.
Top 6 make playoffs. Draft order of non playoff teams determined by Max Potential Points to avoid tanking.
Payouts are:
1st 700
2nd 225
3rd 175
4th 75
7th $25 credit (we like to throw the winner of the consolation bracket a bone)
