Final Dynasty Team Cuts Before Draft (1 Viewer)

I need to make final cuts before the deadline with our upcoming auction draft. The salaries of the players go up each year based on performance and current cost, so I'm looking to have the best team I can this year while keeping in mind the future since this is a fully dynasty team and we can keep everyone. This team was under the salary cap last year but with the increase in salary is now well over it.

League: 12 team, $200 salary cap dynasty 0.5 PPR league, start 1QB, 1RB, 2WR, 1TE, 1FLEX (RB/WR/TE), 1D, 1K, 15min - 17max roster.

Who would you cut from the following before the draft?

QB - Cousins ($11), Palmer ($10), Garoppolo ($3)
RB - L. Miller ($27), David Johnson ($25), L. Murray ($17), Perkins ($3)
WR - Julio ($39), Evans ($21), Allen Robinson ($15), Watkins ($11), Parker ($7)
TE - Olsen ($21), Eifert ($9)
D  - Chiefs (3)

Current Salary:  $222
Average Rookie RB: $30, Average Rookie WR: $15, Average Top WR: $35, Average Top RB: $40

The bolded seem obvious to me.  Then its a matter of your thoughts and league history with regards to Robinson, Watkins and Parker.

I might be willing to get rid of Olsen if you think Eifert will be healthy.

Those 4 you bring up along with Miller are the ones I'm struggling with.  What are your thoughts on them?

Each auction league takes on a life of its own.  It is difficult to help here without knowing these dynamics.  How big is the pool of players in the auction?  What do backup qbs go for?  Wr's? Etc..

While the following question is simple the answer is not always clear...if I cut a guy what do I have to pay to get him back?  If the answer is less than you are currently paying then he is an easy cut.  The other question is if you cut him what will it cost to get comparable production from another player?  Again if the answer is less then cut him.

with that said, in my contract auction league, teams have a lot of money but the talent is not deep so guys should go for more than they would in other years.

I would cut the following:

QB - Palmer ($10) - older and not needed.  I would also think about cutting Jimmy G but that would depend on other QB options.  He really doesn't have any value right now but is cheap.  If there are always QB's available I would dump him too.
RB - L. Miller ($27), L. Murray ($17) - Murray is easy dump.  Miller is a bit more thought provoking but I would rather have the combined $44 available and upgrade at RB.  Worse comes to worse I would guess Miller might be a bit cheaper.
WR - Julio ($39), Evans ($21), Allen Robinson ($15), Watkins ($11), Parker ($7) - I wouldn't cut any WR's unless I had to.  They are all at decent prices and is definitely your strength.  If there was any I would think about it would be Robinson but I would guess you wouldn't be able to get the upside he has for less than $15.
TE - Olsen ($21) - easy cut with Eifert already on the roster.  You can pick up a serviceable TE for much cheaper and Eifert is a fine starter.
D  - Chiefs (3) - I would cut the defense but I don't know what your defenses go for in the auction.  Maybe this is a really good price but usually a $1 defense is just fine.

This saves you $78 so you should have $56 for the draft to pick up a RB, backup TE, defense, and backup QB

Thanks for the response, still waiting to the last minute but it seems other than rookies Miller would be the best RB available and there are 5+ owners looking for a RB.  He's the one I'm stuck on.
