I'll apologize in advance if there's another thread re: LJ's trade value, but I did a search and came up with nothing.

In any case, I was offered Cedric Benson for LJ. I recognize that under normal conditions, this would be ludicrous to consider, but these are anything BUT normal conditions. I'm 5-2, so I actually allowed myself to look at weeks 13-16. Both Cincy and KC have decent match-ups during that stretch, so that variable is sort of a wash. My thinking, at this moment is that whatever Benson gets, it's better than the goose eggs I'm taking with LJ. Also, did anyone else get the sense during his press conference that he was intimating that he (LJ) may need re-hab?

I'd take my chances with LJ ... The only way you lose is if he gets suspended for the year and even then it's almost a push.If you want the Bengals running game go out and get Watson ... he may have as good a chance as Benson to claim the job. I think Perry still has a chance.

Unfortunately, I have LJ in both my leagues this year. I picked up Benson last week in one (w/o dropping LJ). I will probably pick him up in the other as well (he's still available on waivers). That said, I certainly wouldn't trade LJ to get him.

Could he be worth more than LJ in a few weeks? Possibly. But I'd take that risk. If it goes down that way, I doubt it will be because Benson is suddenly a "stud." More likely it will be because LJ gets an extended vacation & Benson > nothing.
