Jaguars Fred Taylor is still listed as probable, but Taylor hasn't given a lot of positive vibes about recovering from the sore knee that forced him out of last week's game in Tennessee in the fourth quarter. Taylor painted a rather iffy picture to reporters today for the second day in a row. Cornerback Fernando Bryant was added to the injury report today, after reporting back stiffness. Bryant has been listed officially as “questionable.”

I think Taylor is just playing head games with the media. He'll be out there. He wanted to get back into the game last week. He is motivated, and evidentally has some incentives to reach, and not playing against the Jets would not help that cause. Plus, he is well aware of the "Fragile" tag, and wants to continue his games played streak.

I placed a call to Fred and told him to sit this week since I don't need him till week 14. I know it was selfish of me, but I have to look out for myself first, ya know?Sorry to those that own & need Fred this week.

EFD has now been cursed by the football gods :excited: why don't you need him this week, priest and ahman must be nice

i don't think he wanted to get back in the game last week, i would like to see a link as well
Think about it - the team is down 7-3 agiainst a fierce division rival and arguably the best team in the league. Your team is driving down the field for the winning TD and Freddy is standing on the sideline. You think if he told Del Rio that he wants back in the game that Del Rio would say no??

i woulden't doubt it del rio and the whole jag team is real quiet on some things... it's prob like a shannahan thing and they will keep it quiet and fred will play this week and dominate i hope

It's funny when people post the reason why a player will play is because they don't want to be thought as being weak....yea, right! If you make millions a year you could give a rat's ### what the common man thinks.

The only reason why I picked up Toefield and may take a shot and start him in my flex over Thomas Jones.Look, players NEVER care when getting paid what you or I think so let's do away with "X player will play because he doesn't want to come off as being a ####"Here's another tip: Hurt or not, players in most cases will say they will play. If I was playing pro ball I wouldn't say I am not going to play even if I knew I couldn't run on it. So, let's do away with "X player says he will start this game regardless if he's practiced or not". Not the players but the doctors that make the choice if you play or not.
